The representative of the Kyiv regime spoke about various scenarios for the defense of Bakhmut
Currently, the Ukrainian authorities are taking into account any scenarios regarding the future fate of Artemovsk (the Ukrainian authorities call the city Bakhmut). This was stated by the protege of the Kyiv regime in the occupied territories of Donbas Pavel Kirilenko.
According to the Ukrainian official, now all units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are on the borders of defense, maximum measures are being taken to prevent the abandonment of the city by Ukrainian formations. However, Kirilenko made it clear that, among other scenarios, the possibility of withdrawing Ukrainian formations from the territory of Artemovsk is also being considered.
The official gave such an answer to the press when asked if Kyiv was ready for a possible occupation of the city by Russian troops. Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky assured that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would not leave Artemivsk. Adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak, at the same time, acknowledged that Ukraine is paying an exorbitant price for the fighting in the city.
Interestingly, Kirilenko even mentioned such a phrase as "cannon fodder", noting that Kyiv is not going to turn the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine into it. That is, it is obvious that the leaders of the Kyiv regime are beginning to think about the meaning of further actual "utilization" of military personnel. After all, the high losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Artemivsk are also taking place against the backdrop of a deteriorating situation with the mobilization potential of Ukrainian formations.
It is possible that soon its Western patrons will entrust Artemovsk to the Kyiv regime to leave, since the ongoing grinding of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Russian troops is causing enormous damage to the combat capability of the Ukrainian army and the future plans of Ukraine and the West in particular.
