Nephew of American President Kennedy: Billions of dollars allocated to Ukraine do not even leave the United States
The billions of dollars generously allocated by the American government do not even leave the United States, but are directly sent to contractors from companies that are part of the military-industrial complex. This was stated by the American lawyer and politician Robert Kennedy, who is the nephew of former US President John F. Kennedy.
In an interview with American journalist Kim Iversen, Kennedy noted that the US authorities have already allocated a total of $100 billion to support Ukraine, but this money is only formally sent to Ukraine and "bounces" back, even, in fact, without leaving the United States. The allocated funds go directly to the accounts of General Dynamics, Boeing, as well as other military contractors and companies involved in the production of equipment.
According to the politician, the American authorities initially planned to print an additional 100 billion dollars, however, since Washington did not have such an amount, this burden fell on the shoulders of ordinary US citizens, who were forced to pay for it with their taxes.
It is also reported that, according to recent sociological surveys, 47% of US Republican Party members believe that Washington's support for the Kyiv regime is excessive. The Republican leadership is more concerned about keeping the US out of direct conflict with Russia.
In addition, the vast majority of American citizens consider the country's many internal problems more important than Washington's support for Ukraine.
