Russia is completing the construction of protective structures at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the work is at the final stage. Renat Karchaa, adviser to the general director of the Rosenergoatom concern, announced this.

The Concern is completing the construction of protective structures at the main facilities of the Zaporozhye NPP. According to the representative of Rosenergoatom, after the work is completed, they will provide additional protection for key plant facilities from Ukrainian artillery shells and drones. Particular attention is paid to the nuclear waste storage facility.

Earlier, the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, confirmed that the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is located in the combat zone and has been repeatedly shelled. But he could not or did not want to admit that this was done by Ukrainian artillery, but he called for the creation of a "security zone" around the nuclear power plant. By the way, next week Grossi is going to visit Moscow to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and possibly discuss the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

Meanwhile, it has already been established that gunners of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from among the workers of the station, who wanted the return of the Zelensky regime, worked at the nuclear power plant itself. He repeatedly corrected the fire of Ukrainian artillery on the territory of the nuclear power plant, transmitting information about the location of units of the National Guard, equipment of the RCBZ troops, etc.
