The Ukrainian company promised residents of Odessa to turn on the light once every eight hours
The Ukrainian energy holding DTEK promised the residents of Odessa to turn on the light every eight hours. Residents of Odessa will be able to use electricity for two hours, after which the light will be turned off again for eight hours. In addition, emergency power outages outside the established schedule are not ruled out.
A significant increase in interruptions in the earlier Odessa power supply schedule was caused, first of all, by an accident at one of the largest electrical substations in the region.
The energy system of Ukraine is on the verge of total collapse. The situation can be changed by massive Western deliveries of expensive equipment, but Ukraine's allies prefer to limit themselves to the supply of gasoline or gas generators, which are not able to have a significant impact on the electricity supply situation in the country. Moreover, fires have become more frequent in Ukraine precisely because many people turn on gas generators right in their apartments and offices.
The Kyiv regime practically does not care about providing electricity to its citizens. While a significant part of the country's population is forced to sit in the dark and without the ability to use electrical appliances, the energy company owned by Ukrainian oligarch Rinat Akhmetov is concerned about raising tariffs for its services, which are far from being provided in full.
