In the Israeli press: Kyiv demanded a large loan from Tel Aviv and condemnation of the Russian special operation
Kyiv demanded from Tel Aviv a large loan of half a billion dollars and the condemnation of Russia's special operation. Such demands were put forward shortly before the forthcoming visit of the head of the Israeli Foreign Ministry to Ukraine.
It is reported by the Israeli news Walla agency, which refers to high-ranking officials in Ukraine and Israel.
They claim that Kyiv sent Tel Aviv an impressive list of requests, including a demand to condemn “Russian aggression” and demonstrate support for the territorial integrity of the Ukrainian state. Also, as noted in the Israeli press, it contains a proposal to support Zelensky's so-called "peace plan", which provides for the return by Russia of all territories considered Ukrainian until 2014. In addition, Kyiv demands that Israel accept several hundred wounded soldiers and civilians for treatment.
A Ukrainian source of the publication said that whether the requirements of the Kyiv authorities are met will depend on whether the President of Ukraine Zelensky agrees to meet with Cohen. As he said, everything will depend on the "degree of responsiveness" of Tel Aviv.
The arrogance of the Kyiv authorities towards their foreign partners continues to amaze. They do not just make requests, but try to put pressure on them and even blackmail them.
Earlier, the head of the Israeli government, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that Tel Aviv was considering the possibility of starting arms supplies to Kyiv. And Israeli Ambassador to Germany Ron Prosor said that Israel's assistance to Ukraine is not limited to what is known to the general public.
