Zelensky proposed extending martial law and general mobilization
29
The President of Ukraine once again proposed to shed martial law in the country. This is reported by Zelensky's office.
Recall that martial law in Ukraine was introduced on February 24 last year and was supposed to be in effect until March 26. After that, it was extended several more times.
Zelensky's latest decree to extend martial law was signed on November 21. The document assumed the preservation of this regime in the country for 90 days. Therefore, it expires on February 19th.
In addition, today, February 6, the Ukrainian parliament approved Zelensky's decree to extend the general mobilization. The relevant document will begin to be published by the Ukrainian media from today, and the law itself will come into force on February 19.
It is worth adding that right now another wave of mobilization is taking place in Ukraine. At the same time, employees of the military registration and enlistment offices and the National Guard organize real raids on those liable for military service, as evidenced by numerous videos published on the Web.
Now that, against the backdrop of colossal losses at the front, Zelensky has decided to extend martial law and general mobilization, it becomes obvious that he intends to continue the war with Russia, if necessary, to the last Ukrainian.
