Ukrainian military actively use the Delta situational awareness system
The Armed Forces of Ukraine use an information system in a combat situation. The Ukrainian military actively use the Delta situational awareness system.
According to Ukrainian media, this was reported in the defense department of Ukraine.
The information system receives data from spacecraft, aviation intelligence, UAVs, radars, surveillance cameras, chats and other sources. In order not to expose Delta to the risk of destruction by Russian missiles or hacker attacks, it was placed on a cloud service located outside of Ukrainian territory.
Any connected user can use the system data by logging into it from any device and passing verification. We are talking about the active Ukrainian military. Delta allows military personnel to monitor the situation on the battlefield in real time. "Delta" began to be used in the Ukrainian army for the first time back in 2018 during the hostilities against the Armed Forces of the Republics of Donbass.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24 last year. This was preceded by a request for help from the leadership of the recently recognized Russian Federation of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. And although Western countries did not directly participate in the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict, they provide Kyiv with unprecedented military assistance, and also increased sanctions pressure on Russia.
