Roskosmos presented the Soyuz-80a rocket decorated in honor of the 2.1th anniversary of the Battle of Stalingrad

The State Corporation Roscosmos showed the festive decoration of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket in honor of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad. Photos of the rocket are posted on the official Telegram channel of Roscosmos.

The image of the monument "The Motherland Calls!", drawings of children about the city of Volgograd, the coat of arms of the Volgograd region, the logo of the fund of social projects "Heritage" are applied on the carrier. These images are meant to remind of the great victory of the Soviet people 80 years ago.

The jewelry design was presented in Volgograd in November 2022. At that time, the corporation had not yet announced what kind of rocket they were going to decorate in honor of the memorable anniversary.

It is known that at present the rocket is ready for the upcoming launch. Its assembly was completed at the Baikonur Cosmodrome today, and the launch will take place on February 9 at 9:15 Moscow time. The Soyuz-2.1a rocket will deliver the Progress MS-22 cargo spacecraft to the International Space Station.

Recall that the Battle of Stalingrad ended on February 2, 1943 with the victory of the Red Army over the Nazi troops. As Russian President Vladimir Putin noted, speaking in Volgograd at an event in honor of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad, it radically changed the entire course of the Great Patriotic War. It was after this battle that the European satellites began to turn away from Germany, trying to avoid responsibility for complicity in its crimes, as they realized that the defeat of the Third Reich was a settled issue.

And what does Roskosmos and this product have to do with the Battle of Stalingrad?
they would like to surprise the people .. they would mint a portrait of the Great I.V. Stalin. and this was understood and accepted by the people. And so again the trampoline!

Perhaps, if it were not for the Battle of Stalingrad, there would be no Roskosmos today. Such is the attitude.

        What to do?..
Rogozin's show-offs in the form of colorings and names continue even after his resignation. The initiative with names, by the way, is not the most successful. "Soyuz MS-22" has already been called "K. E. Tsiolkovsky". The one that is now docked to the ISS and recognized as emergency. And is waiting for its fate to land in unmanned mode in the month of March.

That is, Borisov has been driving Roskosmos for six months already, and he has nothing to do with it?

Enlightenment. You don't have to see the negative in everything. Roskosmos has been putting posters on rockets dedicated to significant dates and events in Russian history for 10 years. And it's very good to refresh the memory in the minds of forgetful descendants. It's practically not worth the money, only for the poster.

The best monument to the Battle of Stalingrad will be the return of the name of Stalingrad to the city, no, not because of the great love for Stalin, but for the sake of historical justice and tribute of the greatest respect for the Feat of the people, for me personally the Hero City of Volgograd or St. Petersburg sounds wild, this is already history, and after all, we are taught not to be Ivans who do not remember kinship. Stalins and Lenins come and go, but the feat of Heroes is for centuries.

If there are no icons on the dashboard and Christmas trees with thieves' rosaries on the mirror, that is, where it strives. And by the way, we noticed how in our society and on the site in particular the attitude towards the pride of any self-respecting country (space) has changed. One negative, but as in the union they were proud and aspiratedly discussed these topics.

Because we take off for work, and not for conventions. And we don't race. For there is no need.

Tomorrow is the next launch to the geostationary station and Proton at the start:

Unfortunately, races are inevitable. In addition to prestige, which is important, there is also a financial part. Ten years ago, we massively launched foreign satellites. And they received money, which, in particular, could be used for the development of our astronautics. But we decided not to participate in the races (or could not), now there is practically no demand for our services. Competitors offer much cheaper and faster. So we don't have that money.
We do not participate in races, and over the years, while we are discussing what and why we need our own space station, the Chinese built it and put it into orbit.
And there is also the military side. The states monitor NWO around the clock, but we do not have such an opportunity. Musk provided the troops with an accessible communications system that we don't have anywhere near. Etc.

But the managers probably got good salaries there under Rogozin. Engineers - work, Rogozin managers - a chic life. Here is the communication failure!

And what to be proud of? The one that painted the rocket? After all, they used to be proud of their achievements. Great achievements. The first satellite, the first astronaut, the first station on Venus, the first lunar rover, the first spacewalk, the first space station. Each of these events is a breakthrough, an achievement on a global scale. Now what? Robot Fedor from imported components, which was stupidly taken into space. Filmmakers were taken into space. By the way, where is that movie? Not a single major achievement in all the years of the Russian Federation.

          Imagine ...
The robot Fedor landed on the moon, puts the flag of Russia and throws out the flag of the United States (by chance ...). fellow
Then Fedor conducts reconnaissance of the bowels of the moon in search of minerals, loads samples of lunar soil into a rocket and sends them to Earth ...
With the next rocket, a whole batch of robotic workers is delivered to the Moon, who replace Fedor's energy battery, hand him a foreman's certificate (along with a system program) and join his team ...
Then Fedor's team starts mining on the Moon...
This is an ACHIEVEMENT - we must strive for this Yes

Even if something useful comes out of Fedor, where to use it? There is no heavy launch vehicle for delivering an expedition to the Moon, and even more so to Mars, and is not being developed. There is no space platform for assembling an interplanetary ship from individual elements and is not being developed.
As for the narratives, I will say more, I have neither a portrait of Rogozin nor a portrait of Borisov in the red corner. Only shh, no one. True, there is no portrait of Musk either.

Stickers on rockets combined with successes (at least at the level of other countries, it makes no sense to talk about leadership) in space - no one would say a word, but when these PR actions (who wants to call it enlightenment - go ahead, if you want to) they are trying to cover up the progressive lag, this is what causes the negative.

Well, we see the festively decorated Mausoleum in honor of the Great Victory every year. As the name Stalin was not erased from the memory of the people, even the name of the city was changed to Volgograd, but the battle itself remained STALINGRAD.

    Funny.

Rogozin, on the other hand, filmed many normal specialists and put "effective managers" everywhere, even tried to remove Krikalev, do you think Borisov just came and put things in order? There is still hard systematic work to be done to clear the industry of this kind of "cadres", "effective managers". In three or four years, you can already ask Borisov questions, but for now, the main task, in my opinion, is to clear Roskosmos of "Rogozinism", to restore the prestige of working in the industry so that engineers would not be ashamed to work for a PR clown in Rogozin's time, to stabilize the situation with salaries. Rogozin set an anti-record for the number of launches (in 2020 there were 17, and for example in the year 14 31!, lost almost all foreign contracts). As a result of Rogozin's rule - a decrease in the income of Roskosmos, incessant corruption scandals, many violations. Rogozin and Medvedev were also told about this by other officials, but he probably aimed for promotion, but turned out to be a "downed pilot."

You can be proud of the amount of dough that Rogozin received, 80 lyams in one of the years. The highest income of the director of the space company in the world! And there was also an article in the newspaper that there the employees of the central office of Rogozin in the amount of 600 people received crazy money for Russia 400 tr. per month
