The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is going to extend the terms of martial law in the country and the general mobilization of those liable for military service. This was stated by People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, whose words are quoted by the Ukrainian media.
The new period of martial law and mobilization will come into effect after February 19, 2023 and will last for three months. To do this, two relevant bills will have to be submitted to the Rada. The initiator of the bills will be the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky himself.
Thus, for the sixth time the Verkhovna Rada will have to extend martial law after the start of a special military operation of the RF Armed Forces in Ukraine.
However, with each wave of mobilization in Ukraine, the mobilization resource is gradually depleted. It is already known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are mobilizing people of older age groups, with chronic diseases, who have not served in the army, that is, those categories of the population that can hardly be good soldiers. Naturally, the mobilized suffer very high losses, but this is of little concern to the Kyiv regime, which actually pursues a policy of "utilizing" its own population.
To carry out the mobilization, the country's authorities have to act more and more harshly. On the streets of Ukrainian settlements there are real raids on people of fighting age, with the use of armed fighters who grab men and forcibly put them in cars.
