The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced Russian attacks near the village of Grekovka, which is west of Makeevka in the LPR
The Ukrainian General Staff in its morning report traditionally reports in which settlements “Russian attacks were repulsed”. On the whole, these reports make it possible to obtain quite interesting information in the sense that, without reporting the loss of certain settlements, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine writes about where the fighting is currently taking place. And it often turns out that the names indicated by Ukrainian talking heads from the General Staff indicate a clear advance of Russian troops in a westerly direction in the Donbass.
For example, in a recent report, for the first time in a long time, a press officer of the general staff of the enemy troops mentions the village of Grekovka.
Press Service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine:
If the Russian troops carried out an attack in the Grekovka area, then it turns out that they went beyond the Makeevka line in the LPR, since Grekovka is located to the west. This can be seen on the map.
Given the fact that the RF Armed Forces were not informed about the liberation of Luhansk Makeevka, it can be assumed that our troops carried out flank raids behind enemy lines. Or the front line really moved to Grekovka directly, from one of the directions.
Grekovka is also the westernmost settlement of the LPR in this area. And, judging by the report of the enemy, the Russian troops continued to push him (the enemy) along the Grekovka-Nevsky line, pushing him away from the road connecting the cities of Svatovo and Kremennaya.
Recall that it was in this direction that the Armed Forces of Ukraine promised to arrange a “breakthrough of the Russian defense”, each time shifting its deadlines.
