The military correspondent spoke about the difficult integration of the Donbass People's Militia into the Russian Armed Forces
Currently, the People's Militia of the Donetsk People's Republic and the People's Militia of the Lugansk People's Republic are in the process of being included in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. War correspondent Alexander Sladkov writes about the difficulties of this path in his Telegram channel.
According to Sladkov, the integration process is not without obstacles. The battalions, regiments and brigades of the people's militia are being transformed into Russian ones, the organizational structure is being streamlined, and new staff positions are appearing. But after all, it was precisely for this, for the right to become part of Russia, that the people's republics fought for nine years, and they fully deserved this right throughout their short but glorious history.
- пишет military commander Sladkov.
According to the war correspondent, there are negative examples. For example, Colonel Eduard Basurin, according to Sladkov, was "quietly fired", citing his age. And this is in vain, he could well have continued to work in the field of propaganda, the ideological training of the mobilized. Yes, and he is not an elderly man - not even sixty.
In addition, Sladkov writes that he really wants women who served in the NM DPR and NM LPR, who “want and know how to fight,” to be fired from the ranks of the RF Armed Forces for various formal reasons. That is, the process of integrating the police into the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation must be approached creatively, sometimes refusing to apply formal criteria where they are inappropriate.
