The head of the Crimea promised to send funds from the sale of property of Ukrainian oligarchs to the needs of a special operation
The proceeds from the sale of the nationalized property of the Ukrainian oligarchs in Crimea are supposed to be directed in full to the needs of the participants in the special military operation in Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the Crimea Sergey Aksyonov.
The Crimean Parliament has decided to nationalize the Crimean property previously owned by Ukrainian politicians, oligarchs and business representatives. The property of 12 Ukrainian banks and several enterprises is also subject to nationalization.
Aksyonov also stressed that all nationalized property without exception would be sold at auction. According to the head of the republic, none of the nationalized assets is expected to be left or leased. The proceeds from the sale of the property of Ukrainian oligarchs and politicians are planned to be primarily used to equip the units participating in the special military operation in Ukraine.
Earlier, the Crimean authorities decided to nationalize the assets owned by some Ukrainian oligarchs who were noted for having links with the Ukrainian authorities and committing unfriendly actions towards the Russian Federation.
For this, a special anti-terrorist commission was created, whose tasks include ensuring the process of nationalization and determining the list of individuals and legal entities subject to this procedure.
