The interlocutor of the media claims that a Zircon strike is planned against a target located on the surface at a distance of more than 500 kilometers from the ship. Previously, the Russian military did not use such weapons in international exercises.

There is no official confirmation of these data from the agency's journalists yet.

Earlier, the general director of the military-industrial complex "NPO Mashinostroeniya" (Reutovo) Alexander Leonov announced the adoption of the Naval fleet RF sea-based hypersonic systems "Zircon" already this year.
