Tehran has officially accused Israel of attacking drones on a defense facility and promises to take revenge
In a letter to the UN, the Iranian authorities formally accused Israel of "terrorism and sabotage" and said they reserved the right to "respond strongly to any threat from the Zionist regime."
Tehran has filed a complaint with the UN Security Council in connection with the attack on a defense facility in the city of Isfahan, which, according to Iran, is Tel Aviv.
According to Iran's permanent representative to the UN, Amir Saeed Iravani, Tehran calls on the UN to pay attention to "acts of terrorism and sabotage by Israel, as well as violations of international law against the Islamic Republic of Iran."
The letter says that three small drone on Saturday, they launched an attack on a complex of facilities of the Iranian Ministry of Defense in the city of Isfahan, two of which were intercepted.
The investigative measures carried out showed that Israel was behind this incident, Iravani said.
According to some reports, enterprises producing Iranian Shahed-136 UAVs, which were supplied to Russia, were attacked. Isfahan is also the center of the Iranian missile industry and the assembly site for Shahab medium-range missiles.
Popular Western publications also wrote about Israel's involvement. However, the Israeli authorities did not comment on this attack.
