Ex-head of Roskosmos Rogozin announced the arrival of four Marker combat robots in Donbass
Four fighting Robot "Marker" arrived in Donbass. Dmitry Rogozin, the former head of the Roskosmos corporation and the head of the Tsarskie Wolves group of military advisers in the Donbass, announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to the politician, the loading of images of targets and the development of combat algorithms as part of a group of combat robots are now beginning. It is also planned to install anti-tank weapons.
Earlier, Rogozin said that the Marker combat robots, designed to combat tanks enemy, capable of hitting American Abrams tanks and German Leopard tanks. According to Rogozin, combat robots have a special electronic catalog with target images.
Russian combat robots "Marker" can hit enemy tanks and even air targets, such as unmanned aerial vehicles. Now the robots will be tested in the special military operation zone. Previously, they were tested as a security system for the Vostochny cosmodrome.
As you know, the Marker robot is a project of the National Center for the Development of Technologies and Basic Elements of Robotics of the Advanced Research Foundation and the Android Technology NGO. In September 2022, experts noted that Markers could be used as carriers for 16 kamikaze quadrocopters.
Now the Russian military can experience the real capabilities of combat robots on the battlefield. Rogozin also noted that the delivered batch is the first, then, apparently, new deliveries are planned.
