British Defense Minister: London will not transfer fighter jets to Kyiv, but may change its mind
On the request of Ukraine for the supply of combat aircraft, the British authorities refused. And although London will not transfer fighter jets to Kyiv now, it may change its mind in the future.
This was announced to journalists by the head of the British Ministry of Defense Ben Wallace.
He noted that the decision of the UK government regarding the aircraft is not final. It is relevant only for the moment.
The minister himself also does not believe that providing Ukraine with Western fighters would be the right move.
Wallace added.
He also noted the high technical complexity of British aircraft. According to the minister, this calls into question the possibility of their use in Ukraine.
