The head of the personnel department of the Ground Forces of Ukraine recognized the possibility of mobilizing those with limited fitness for military service
Male citizens of Ukraine who are limitedly fit for military service due to health reasons may be mobilized into the ranks of the armed forces of Ukraine. This was reported by the Ukrainian media, citing the statement of the head of the personnel department of the headquarters of the command of the Ground Forces of Ukraine Roman Gorbach.
According to Gorbach, persons with limited fitness may serve in non-combat support units. True, it is not very clear what functions people with various diseases can perform. In addition, non-combat units, if necessary, can very quickly be turned into combat units.
Statements by the Ukrainian military about the mobilization of persons with limited fit for military service testify to only one thing: there is a high personnel shortage in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was aggravated by the departure of a large number of Ukrainian citizens from the country. Earlier, an American military expert, retired colonel Douglas McGregor, said that the population of Ukraine has declined greatly due to the massive outflow of Ukrainians to European countries.
Now in the settlements of Ukraine there are real raids on people of military age. Men are stopped on the streets, forcibly taken out of their homes, and Ukrainian military registration and enlistment offices even use ambulances to catch conscripts. In addition, the border service of Ukraine regularly detains dodgers trying to illegally cross the state border and leave the country.
