Former Italian Air Force Chief of Staff criticized the idea of Sweden and Finland joining NATO

The inclusion of Sweden and Finland in the North Atlantic Alliance will lead to increased tension in relations with the Russian Federation, and such a result contradicts the NATO charter itself. This was stated by the former chief of staff of the Italian Air Force, General Leonardo Tricarico.

According to the retired general, he still believes that Sweden and Finland should not be accepted into the alliance. After all, the entry of new members into the bloc should be carried out in order to increase the level of regional security, and not to increase tension.

Trikariko noted that all NATO candidate countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Georgia, are a "minefield" for the alliance.

The retired general called stopping NATO's eastward expansion the main condition for getting out of the Ukrainian conflict. Russia in response could withdraw troops from the territory of Ukraine. But another condition should be the protection of the Russian population of Ukraine from possible enmity and revenge on the part of Ukrainian nationalists.

According to Trikariko, who cites RIA News, such an initiative can be approved by Russia. After all, NATO's expansion is viewed in Moscow as a very serious threat to the national security of the Russian state. Initially, Russia insisted on stopping the inclusion of more and more new members in the alliance. In fact, the expansion of NATO has become a deception of Russia by the West.

        Yes, tired of these "former".
They are nobody and their opinion has no power.
What every sneeze, not consistent with the policy of the West, to cover. Still, the policy will not change.

Infinite expansion calls into question the very meaning of membership in the alliance. Most countries are looking to NATO for opportunities to protect themselves, because not all have the resources to maintain a large army.
And in the end it turns out that with the expansion, the likelihood of being drawn into an armed conflict increases. And according to the notorious 5th article, everyone will have to fit in.
And is it necessary? Everyone wants protection, but to send their people to the front... Especially if it is the front of someone else's war.

After all, this ex is 100% right.
But who will listen to him?
The older "brother" will not go back because of the big puddle, and he does not want to, they did not expand for this.
Only "former" people talk about mistakes, and no one dares to be real, he will be pecked right there.

As soon as they retire, in the West, enlightenment immediately begins in their brains. This is some kind of epidemic or a feeling of repentance before eternity.
Although our Judas hunchback died without repenting for the millions of lives he ruined after the collapse of the USSR .. Judas burn in hell and the "honorary citizen of Germany and the Nobel Peace Laureate" Ugh, damn the padlyuk, it's already sickening to remember

And it is so clear that the United States wants to blackmail Russia by accepting Sweden and Finland into NATO, so that Russia goes "to the world" with Banderstadt.

The Italians can be transferred to the northern regions of Finland, somewhere opposite our Alakurti. At least they'll have something to remember. Yes, take the film "Red Tent" with you and watch it all the polar night.
