There were shots of the defeat of Ukrainian armored vehicles from the Shturm-S SPTRK

The Russian army is armed with a formidable, but rarely seen in videos dedicated to NMD, equipment - the Shturm-S self-propelled ATGM. Due to the high rate of fire and accuracy of fire, even one vehicle is able to hold back the advance of enemy armored formations. Due to the low silhouette and the average firing range (5-6 km), the Sturm-S SPTRK manifests itself in ambushes on the front line, striking at an unsuspecting enemy.

Footage appeared on the network showing an enemy armored personnel carrier that fell into a trap set up by the crew of the Russian SPTRK. The Ukrainian armored personnel carrier moved along the forest plantations, trying to hide its movement. However, an ambush awaited the enemy's equipment. The enemy armored personnel carrier was not saved by the high speed of travel: coming from the rear, the supersonic missile caught up with the armored personnel carrier, went into line with enemy equipment and hit it on board.

The video after the missile launch shows tracking of an ATGM through an optical sighting device. The operator monitors the flight in the infrared range, making adjustments if necessary. The thermal "trace" shows that enemy motorized rifles were located on the enemy armored personnel carrier. As a result, they were knocked out along with the equipment transporting them.

A good complex, I wonder, but are Chrysanthemums still in business? That's what could be used to burn the "armored soldier" of Ukraine ...

I'm interested too. I saw the result of the action of "Chrysanthemum" on armor of decent thickness. Indeed, the hole resembles a chrysanthemum.

The assault was put into service in the late 70s.
Chrysanthemum - in 2005. The only question is how many of them were made?

        don't say too much
And I quoted Khramchikhin, the end of 2018
As for Chrysanthemum-S, approximately 60 of these vehicles are in service with the 2nd Motorized Rifle (Taman) Division of the Western Military District (ZVO), the 8th Artillery Regiment of the South Military District (deployed in Crimea) and two artillery brigades: the 291st South Military District (Ingushetia) ) and the 120th Central Military District (Yurga, Kemerovo Region).
And this man answered me - I don’t know where you got the yurga and Taman. But in fact they are in Ingushetia, Crimea, and recently they were delivered to Kaliningrad. Everything. This is in addition to foreign users.

Well, modern assaults are already weapons of the zero years - they changed the electronics there, they gave a night sight, new missiles. It seems that they began to get into service since 2012 ... But Chrysanthemums are still more perfect and the rocket is more powerful ...

Shooting not through the guidance device. Most likely through the commander's device.

Even the ancient "Malyutka" (9K11) has a separate launcher and control panel. They are carried in order to save the calculation when the launch site is hit. Classic, however.

The old Soviet rocket Cocoon from the early 70s (with a slightly modernized warhead) with radio command control, which the operator must direct with levers, is a supersonic (!) Rocket. So the Germans did in their anti-aircraft missiles during the war.
The launch is shown during daylight hours, but for some reason the image is shown in IR. The missile obviously went by, at the last moment the operator managed to correct something, the missile at the end flies perpendicular to the line of observation. Immediately after the explosion, the picture breaks off, so it’s impossible to understand where they hit and what real damage, and given the fact that there is a cumulative warhead, this is important. When viewed frame-by-frame, it is clear that the explosion occurred to the left of the target. Music, in my opinion, could not be imposed. :(

What kind of nonsense? Levers are only in the imagination of amateurs. The assault is stabilized on the trajectory by automation, the operator only holds the mark on the target.

levers and hold. Judging by the video, it didn't work out very well. At first, the rocket went past, and then turned around at all, so that the mark was not visible - there is no rocket at all on the frame - it is either behind the target, or turned around in flight towards the observer, it turns out.

Young man, will you tell me about the guidance of the Sturm ATGM? lol Yes, how many years you have not lived in the world, how many launches I have completed. And even though it was Shturm-V, the only difference is that it is more difficult to work from a helicopter.
And the lever you mentioned is called a joystick. It was still on the Mi-24D, where the Phalanga-PV (subsonic) could be kept on the trajectory both in semi-automatic and manual modes.

And the lever you mentioned is called a joystick.

You are absolutely right, the joystick is. It was he who was invented by the Germans to control the first Wasserfall anti-aircraft missiles.
Marks on the screen of the cathode-ray tube from the target and the missile were manually combined by the operator using the control knob (Joystick - the world's first joystick). The signals from the "joystick" were sent to the Siemens computing devices (the prototype of the first computers, which used not only electronic, but also electromechanical and even mechanical components). Commands from the Siemens machine were sent via radio to the rocket, where the steering machines controlled the rocket's air rudders.

Everyone sees what he wants to see.

Not every. Some see what is real.
I watched the video frame by frame and chose three frames.
The first frame is the last one before the explosion, the next is the explosion. The target is marked with an arrow, the missile marks are nowhere to be seen, it disappeared a few seconds before. And it should be visible if the rocket flies to the target, in fact, this is a necessary element of the rocket control system, if you are aware.
The second frame is the explosion itself. The blind can see that it does not coincide with the goal.
The third is the last frame in the entire video. The author cut it off in the middle of the explosion, the screen is illuminated by the explosion so that it is not visible whether the target is hit or not.
A separate question is why the video is in IR, where it is difficult to make out something, and not in a regular video, as the video began.

Let's say you are right and hit the charge of the roadbed. How can one explain the separation of the thermal trace during detonation, in the homogeneous structure of the earth?

Because the record is from different means.
I'm not even sure it's the optics of the car. Rather, the observer who confirmed the defeat did it in his television-thermal imaging surveillance and reconnaissance device.

Of course, to hide the Truth from you. Specially 50 years ago, a complex was made, which provides for a regime for misleading a Svidomo liberal :)

Stop being zealous. IR mode allows you to get a high-contrast image, which is easier to aim a missile at. And before you start to object, try to go out into the field and look at the camouflaged car in the background 5 kilometers away from you. Even through optics.

The rocket does not miss anywhere - this is a standard trajectory. Turn on your brain and think about how to direct a rocket if it shines with a main engine exactly in the center of the screen? I assure you, the developers of the complex are MANY times smarter than you and made the car so that it was not beautiful for you, but effective in battle.

The footage you provided shows what? Read at least Wikipedia, if you are not enough for serious literature. Warhead Cocoon cumulative. In your opinion, after the hit, what should you have seen? Funnel 100 by 100 meters? :)

the missile mark is nowhere to be seen; it had disappeared a few seconds before. And it should be visible if the rocket flies to the target, in fact, this is a necessary element of the rocket control system, if you are aware.

The missile did not disappear, the missile entered the line of sight in the final section of the trajectory. When firing from ground platforms, high-speed ATGMs kick up dust, blocking the weapon operator's view and unmasking the launch. Therefore, the control algorithms bring the missile above the line of sight, and lower it back 500-700 meters before the target.
The video is not from the optics of the car, so due to the difference in observation height, it seems that the rocket has disappeared from the frame.

          solar

To control fire, special programs have been developed that allow the rocket at the initial stage to fly both along the line of sight and along a trajectory above the line of sight, and when approaching the tank at a distance of 1000-1500 meters, it descends and hits the target ("Dust" mode).

Well ... and this is ONLY ONE ANTI-TANK MEANS in service with the Russian army ... and at least eat such tools ... starting from the most legendary and simple RPG-7 and ending with the Cornet. So there is no need to snot here about the supply of NATO tanks. On the contrary, it is a joy that the army in real life will drive them up to the nostrils into the ground and show them to the whole world ... and I don’t need to talk about the blasphemy of joy, they say it’s death .... you won’t change anything with snot and therefore you need to benefit from all situations and pleasant moments, therefore, we must rejoice that for the first time in history, the Russian army will work on real NATO tanks with all anti-tank weapons and, as a result, all leopards and abrams (although I doubt about abrams) will drive into the ground

This is not a selfie on the Turkish coast and do not be fooled by some kind of liberal toilet brush. This is the cutting edge. They kill there. And no one cares how you like it. There is a war.

Judging by the video, the rocket flies for 14 seconds between the launcher and the target. Cocoon's speed is 350 m/s. It turns out 4900 meters. Are you suggesting that someone run 5 kilometers across the field for the sake of you for the sake of a photo?
