Also, the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol continues the effective modernization of the Tor-M1 and Osa anti-aircraft systems, and manufactures other military, civilian and dual-use items and products.
“The outgoing 2022 tested us for strength, looking for weaknesses, but revealed strengths and huge reserves. He convincingly proved that the plant is developing in the right direction. All management decisions of the past decade, from the creation of our own design school to the “flashing” of the work of the civil department, have prepared the enterprise for work in new conditions,” says Fanil Gazisovich Ziyatdinov, General Director of IEMZ Kupol
According to the General Director of the enterprise, thanks to the scientific, production and organizational backlog, the team entrusted to him promptly and efficiently solved the planned and newly arisen tasks.
"Dome" completed the state defense order ahead of schedule. Quantitative and qualitative changes took place in the civilian segment, where the volume growth rate was a record 160 percent,” said Fanil Ziyatdinov.
The production base of "Kupola" is expanding. On the seventh site of the enterprise, the production of import-substituting products for the Russian industry started.
Also, according to the head, "Dome" is ready to load tens of thousands of meters of reserve space.
“Over the year, the “sprouts” of new directions were laid, which determine the future of the plant for years to come.
