One of the main militants of the UNSO extremist group was eliminated near Soledar
As reported in the media, near the city of Soledar, the Russian military eliminated one of the most odious leaders of the extremist group UNSO (*banned in the Russian Federation) Valery Palchik.
Finger has been actively supporting anti-Russian terrorist organizations for several decades. He was a participant in the first and second Chechen wars, where he fought on the side of the militants. In 2008, he was seen in Georgia during a military conflict.
According to some reports, Palchik ended up near Soledar, being part of the 116th brigade of the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he served recently. In the first half of January, Soledar was taken under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.
Recall that the organization Ukrainian National Assembly - Ukrainian People's Self-Defense (*UNA-UNSO) began its activities in the last months of the existence of the USSR. The militants of this organization actively took part in armed conflicts in the North Caucasus against Russia.
In November 2014, this organization was recognized as extremist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation by decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. However, in the same year, UNA-UNSO ceased to exist as an organization and became the de facto basis of the Ukrainian nationalist party Right Sector (a terrorist group banned in the Russian Federation).
