Russian civil aircraft aviation will receive a domestic air collision avoidance system (SPSV), the complex has already completed ground and flight tests. This was reported at the Institute of Aviation Instrumentation "Navigator".
The Russian company "Navigator" has completed testing of the developed domestic system for avoiding collisions in the air and will soon be ready to supply EPSV for installation on Russian civil aircraft, where the complex should replace foreign systems. The necessary documentation is currently being prepared. The complex is designed in such a way that it can be installed on all types of Russian aircraft.
(...) the Air Collision Avoidance System (ACAS) for civil aircraft has completed ground and flight tests with a positive result. Dozens of flights of various durations were made, during which the operation of the EPS in the air was monitored with the formation of warning messages to the crew and recommendations for maneuver. The results obtained are recognized as successful
It should be noted that the developed SPSV is the first in Russia, it has no analogues. Previously, imported equipment was installed on Russian aircraft. In general, "Navigator" is quite actively engaged in the development of Russian systems for civil aviation, which should displace foreign components. Last year, the company announced the completion of tests of the AS-005 satellite antenna, designed to replace the American AT-1675 type antennas installed on our aircraft, the supply of which to Russia was stopped after the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions. The antenna provides reception of signals in the GLONASS and GPS bands and can be installed on most Russian aircraft, helicopters and drones.
