Former Polish minister: Ukraine has lost its once powerful economic potential due to unprecedented levels of corruption

The former head of the Polish defense and foreign affairs agencies, and now a member of the European Parliament, Radoslaw Sikorsky, in an interview with Krytyka Polityczna, said that Ukraine had lost its once powerful economic potential due to an unprecedented level of corruption.

In this regard, the politician recalled that back in 1991, she overtook Poland in terms of development due to her fertile lands, powerful aircraft industry, the presence of nuclear power plants, and the absence of debts, but as of 2022, before the start of her special operation GDP, compared with the Polish, was 4 times lower. In his opinion, the megalomania of the Ukrainian political elites, along with the rampant corruption that flourishes to this day, led the country to such a state. As Sikorsky clarified, it is the Ukrainian people who today pay a high price for the actions and decisions of their rulers.

At the same time, he was in solidarity with the position of former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger that after the end of the conflict in Ukraine, NATO should invite Kyiv to become a member of the military-political alliance. Also, in an interview with a correspondent, the parliamentarian rejected the possible collapse of Russia.

Here's what he had to say about it:

I do not see any preconditions for the collapse of Russia, so let's leave all these illusions behind, because we need to think today about how best to save Ukraine from Russia

The former statesman of Poland touched upon the situation around the transfer of Berlin to Kyiv tanks Leopard, which, according to him, is due to two factors, the first of which is to strengthen the military potential of Ukraine in order to return its territories, and the second is due to fears about a possible Russian spring offensive. At the same time, he admitted that more than half of German citizens do not at all support the transfer of heavy weapons to Ukraine.

At the end of the discussion, Radoslav Sikorsky did not rule out that the moment will come when the US will wash its hands, since many of the allies, supported by them for many years, have now refused to cooperate with them.

That is, there are still politicians in Europe who understand that Washington is simply using them as pawns in its geopolitical games and can simply quit with their problems at any moment.

As a rule, everyone understands everything. Many people ask such questions about the former, but they surprise me - if you have ever worked in a large organization, at least the head of a department or a shop foreman - remember what you COULD say contrary to the opinion of the management or the owner and remember how your lips and insight opened up when layoffs. It's obvious, isn't it?

Why did he stop and not remind where this miracle growth of the Polish economy came from?
The Poles also have a memory of a fish, and they prefer to consider dozens, if not hundreds of billions of dollars of injections into Poland from the EU and the USA, as their achievements. The Balts are still the same there, but they are not even able to provide growth with other people's billions. But everyone is strong to teach and sing through the lip

        All true.
If you want to know the real state of affairs - listen to what the "ex" say. Yet fools rarely rise to the very pinnacle of power.

Well, it depends on what kind of boss. At the discussion stage, we could both object and propose.
But if the decision has been made, carry it out.
In my unit, I adhered to the same rules.

They understand everything perfectly well when they are in office, but as long as the US government pays them, they say what their elites need.

.. if according to the classics, then as Field Marshal Paulus said: - got used to holding hands at the seams. And if in modern terms, then like Lord Judd: - In the service of the Crown, there is only the opinion of the Crown. And you can’t spoil the discipline of the amers - strictly, because for many years they purposefully "raised" and promoted these Western elites: they know how to control their investments. And of course, the all-seeing Americans saw, they see how their help of the same 404 is stolen, but it is beneficial for them to keep them for Faberge.
It has already been said many times: Americans know how to work with staff for a long time and for the result: there is something to peep here

Germany will not receive steel, it will buy at an inflated price in other countries, maybe in Poland.
And Ukraine will not receive income from exports, and workers will have to be fired.

      the question is certainly interesting.

Yes, especially how Europe planted corruption in Ukraine, which almost killed the country. Don't you think that this is where Europe is out of business?

join the EU---then we will live!

And at the same time, they began to destroy, plunder and steal, who could do what.

The interview contained 42 questions, mostly about Russia and Ukraine. Here the author manipulates a lot. The Polish MP's statements are severely curtailed.

Here the author omits awkward statements:

Sikorsky argues that the Russian army is not the second army in the world, but a 20th-century army with 19th-century logistics, and this war will most likely end the same way as the Russo-Japanese War of 1905.

I don’t know how this NWO will end, but the fact that the Russian army has never been the No. 2 army in the world is unconditional. Look at the technical equipment of the armies of China, South Korea and Japan - everything will become clear. In addition, over the past 15 years, the Turkish army has greatly modernized and advanced. And of course, the Israeli army is considered one of the most professional and advanced. In general, I don’t even know where the myth about the army number 2 in the world came from. Thanks to the SVO, everything surfaced - Soviet weapons with technologies, military methods of the WWII level, incompetent officers, completely inoperative logistics, lack of coordination between units, etc.

The same can be said about our country. As a result of brainless management and the entire system of thieves, the once formidable Soviet military-industrial complex was finally destroyed. Now even the Soviet developments of the IL-76 level are pipe dreams for us. It's even scary to think that one day we will start buying weapons in China and Iran, when it will no longer be possible to equip the army with former Soviet developments more than 50 years ago. In general, we are moving towards proving that Russia can only export raw materials and nothing else. I lost faith in our military-industrial complex a long time ago.

The moment we are forced to buy weapons from China, it will be possible to announce the collapse of Russia. And we will have to, because we are increasingly lagging behind the West and its technology. And military spending in the West is just beginning.

There are no stupid people in the upper levels of power. And the rulers are honest, kind, just, caring for the whole people, for the united and indivisible, for Peace in the whole world, for all the good against all the bad - the rarest exceptions, washing away the blood that was smeared on the way to power.
If there were examples of rulers in the history of mankind that neither touched wars nor became usurpers, name them.
