Attempts to attack the Armed Forces of Ukraine were repelled in time by the soldiers of the 144th division. In addition, the Ukrainian air forces tried to fire at the positions of the Russian Armed Forces from Mi-8 helicopters, but also to no avail. The Russian military has no losses.
Since the Armed Forces of Ukraine failed to achieve success with the actions of the infantry units, the Ukrainian formations switched to the tactics of shelling Russian positions. Additional artillery crews of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were deployed to the area. However, the counter-battery struggle gave its results: the calculation of the M777 of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was destroyed.

The commander of the 254th motorized rifle regiment, at the head of 5 fighters from the Storm assault detachment, personally advanced to the front line, to the Ukrainian positions. But the prisoner of war died on the way to the location of the Russian regiment from a heart attack. And this is not surprising - he was 48 years old.
