In December 2022, the first footage of the use of Titan-S armored vehicles, which were used by the Ukrainian military during the exercises in Pripyat, was published (the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to practice urban combat skills here on an ongoing basis). A few days ago, this model, armed with a 12,7 mm M2 Browning machine gun, was observed on the streets of Artyomovsk.
Judging by the materials that appeared on the network, one of the recently seen cars has already been eliminated. The video shows the movement of an armored car along a country road in a wooded area on the Krasnolimansky sector of the front. Her movement is monitored by a Russian reconnaissance drone. The course of the car was interrupted by a mine explosion.
Titan-S are produced in the UAE at the facilities of the Canadian company Inkas, which offers a whole line of light armored vehicles. The Titan-S is built on a Toyota Land Cruiser '79 OEM series chassis. It is equipped with a 8-liter V4,5 turbodiesel engine with 195 hp. The vehicle can accommodate up to 8 people (two crew members and 6 airborne troops). Reservation can reach the CEN B6 level (the hull must withstand shelling with 7,62 x 51 mm caliber bullets, the bottom - the simultaneous detonation of two DM51 type grenades).
