Ukraine announces air alert again in three regions
On the afternoon of January 27, an air alert was again announced in Ukraine. This follows from the data of a special online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
At 14:35 Moscow time, an air alert was announced in the Poltava, Kharkiv and Dnepropetrovsk regions. Sirens also work in the Ukrainian-occupied part of the Zaporozhye region of Russia. Earlier, an air alert was also announced in the Sumy region.
The Ukrainian authorities declare an air alert not only before missile strikes or raids by Russian UAVs. In fact, any takeoff of Russian military aircraft at airfields close to the territory of Ukraine, whether it be Russian or even Belarusian airfields, leads to the announcement of an air raid alert.
Meanwhile, the last massive missile attack against objects on the territory of Ukraine was undertaken by the RF Armed Forces only yesterday, on January 26. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation explained that the strikes were carried out on energy infrastructure facilities that are involved in the operation of enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, as well as in ensuring the operation of the transport system used today for military purposes.
The attack involved missiles, including those launched from aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of the attack, significant damage was caused to the Ukrainian infrastructure, which the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy was forced to admit. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced 70 missiles fired, of which only 47 were destroyed, which is a great progress for the Ukrainian command in terms of recognizing the real consequences of the attacks. Previously, there were incidents when the Ukrainian military announced the destruction of almost all missiles, but two missiles somehow managed to hit energy facilities in several regions of the country at once.
