The AK-12 assault rifle, adopted by the Russian army in 2018, has been significantly improved taking into account the experience of using it in a special military operation in Ukraine. In September last year, it was presented to the Ministry of Defense, but the updated machine has not yet gone into serial production, the series is planned only this year, since it took time to prepare design documentation and production. According to Chemezov, the feedback established with the military made it possible to carry out work on the AK-12, Rostec is working closely with the military.

By the way, for example, the AK-12 assault rifle has been significantly improved based on the results of its use in the NWO. It has become much more convenient, more ergonomic. An updated version will go into production this year.
