Pentagon: It will be extremely difficult for Ukraine to ensure the combat capability of Abrams tanks, as they are very difficult to maintain

Against the backdrop of statements by the head of the Kyiv regime, Zelensky, that in “tank coalition” has already included 12 countries, in these countries the discussion about supplies is becoming more and more acute.

Recall that at the moment the supply of their tanks and their re-export to Ukraine by other operators was approved by the authorities of the United States, Britain and Germany. Experts have a question as to why Berlin suddenly approved the delivery of the Leopards in a fairly modern version of the 2A6, given that there are a considerable number of earlier versions of this technology. It turned out that due to "incorrect" storage, many tanks of those same earlier versions are currently not combat-ready and need a rather lengthy restoration. And due to the fact that there were more and more annoying calls from Kyiv to start deliveries, the Scholz government decided to detach a new modification - so far in the amount of a tank company, until several dozen 2A4 modifications were restored and brought to a combat-ready state.

Meanwhile, the United States explained that they could not send their Abrams tanks to Kyiv in the coming weeks, since "there are no free tanks yet." The press secretary of the Pentagon noted that there is an order to the manufacturer, and it is he who, after assembly, must transfer the Abrams to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The first deliveries are expected in the spring.

The Pentagon also noted the following:

It will be very difficult for Ukraine to maintain the combat capability of Abrams tanks, as they are very difficult to maintain.

As it became known, the logistics of supplying special fuel for Abrams M1 tanks to the front line are being worked out, taking into account the fact that American armored vehicles are demanding not only on the fuel itself, but also on its quantity.

They don't need to be serviced. Enough to show up on the front line a few times before being killed.

The USA, as always, are charming swindlers: they inspired Germany by their example, and then they found a thousand reasons why they would not do it. And Germany, as always, once again gets into global troubles due to manipulation. Taking into account the statements of the German Foreign Minister Burbock, this whole situation smells very bad. And the United States traditionally sits overseas, chuckles and counts future profits

Reminds me of a joke about a lumberjack, an ax and a usurer)
“The lumberjack goes home and thinks: it’s strange - there is no ax, no money, and even 1 ruble should remain.
And most importantly: EVERYTHING IS UNDER THE LAW."

Even if Ukrainians put pots on their heads, they will not be able to operate such equipment.

Oh, how "beautifully" the Germans were set up! What did they want? Yes, their Leopards will now be targeted, and the United States will see what comes of it.

Yes, to hell with the Germans, but who do they hold the Ukrainians for? Like there are no big idiots and the tank is difficult for them and they will break anything in the tank.
So in passing to expose the horsemen as cretins one must be able to.

Well, what will happen with the "leopards" is a no brainer. They'll burn them down, that's all. In modern warfare, no one crawls under a tank with a grenade, the weapon is remote, lethal. Crew skills come to the fore, but where does he come from? Will foreign specialists come with cars? Doubtful. It takes a very long time to train Ukrainians, which means there will be dropouts. I remember a video from Mariupol, where our tank flew in reverse like a bullet around the corner of the building, and admired the skill of the driver. I have been driving for many years, but I am so weak in a passenger car. "Iron" itself does not go. All this Western assistance to the "square" is a big PR campaign, although, of course, we will have to solve individual problems.

I do not think that the problem will be with crew training. It's like transferring from Kamaz to Volvo. The same technique and principles of management. Maybe with a few tweaks.

The offensive begins with a psychic attack! See what orderly rows we are performing! Now it remains to bring everything to the front. Abrams will probably be left for defense, and the rest will be allowed into three waves. When the first wave shoots the ammo and gets up to reload, the second wave will go. When the second wave shoots out, the third will go. After it, the recharged ones of the first wave will go. But they can be smashed on the way, while being loaded with fuel and shells. On drones, explosives can be replaced with an incendiary mixture and then their armor thickness will be on the drum. We still have time to prepare for the hot reception! wassat

Oops, another bonus for the USA is being formed. All European tanks will be driven to the slaughter of the Sumerians, and in the meantime, the production of new ones will be slightly bent, and on this you can forget about talking about a pan-European army. And if you still polish the topic a little in the media with the message that if you can’t produce your own, and what was already burned out, then here’s a terrible threat to you on your doorstep and run to buy Amer’s, oh, you don’t have money, well, here’s onerous loans for you, take it and don’t be shy, and if anything, turn off the gas.

It will be very difficult for Ukraine to maintain the combat capability of Abrams tanks, as they are very difficult to maintain.
Even in this one can see the reluctance of the United States to expose its tanks to Russian weapons of destruction. It is better to refer to the weak head of the Ukrainians, who will find it difficult to master American technology.

Now I begin to understand the talk that our military is dissatisfied with the "Armata" and that they are still not at the front. Problems in complex maintenance and gentle tuning and adjustment. On paper, it turns out beautifully, but on the training ground and the battlefield there is one hemorrhoids.

How beautifully the United States played the scam, shod the Germans, pushed them, and quietly hid behind a puddle, hehe, scam!

What is good for the manufacturer is not always good for the consumer.
It’s not bad to force on a Porsche before chicks, but if you need to bring 10 bags of potatoes from the dacha, it’s better to take something simpler and not so “tender”.

Arabs (Egypt, Iraq, Saudis, etc.) use Abrams to the fullest, why can't Ukrainians?! Relax sooner

How much can you write about this fuel. You might think that Soviet tanks are working on the holy spirit. The Armed Forces of Ukraine somehow organize the supply of thousands of vehicles and armored vehicles. But to refuel a hundred Abrams, oh that's all. Bad luck. They can carry tens of thousands of tons of fuel to their thermal power plants, but they will not be able to bring 1000 tons of kerosene. How do they supply the Hymars? And the American armored personnel carriers? And those thousands of tanks for which the RF Ministry of Defense reported? What did they ride, horse-drawn?
Enough of this childish babble. They will all bring. And fuel, and shells, and people will be trained. We are fighting for the 11th month. Already received in the face repeatedly. But we all continue to broadcast funny jokes arr. 2015. About "stupid clumsy who can only dig the sea and eat fat." If they are such "fools" then why are we sitting near Donetsk for 11 months. It constantly flies in the Belgorod region, the airfield with strategic bombers was hit TWICE. The flagship of the Black Sea Fleet was sunk. And everyone is rubbing us about the fact that the APU will not be able to bring a barrel of kerosene.

Well, that is, in words, they kind of sent it. This is so that the Europeans peck and stick with their supplies in full and now. And there ... you can always replay. For example, to say that the extra tanks were never found. And stay on the sidelines.
