Over the past night, the RF Armed Forces struck at the accumulation of enemy manpower in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions

After the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Soledar (DPR), Russian troops continued to inflict damage on the enemy in other directions, destroying ammunition depots, command posts, as well as manpower and equipment.

Over the past night and morning, the RF Armed Forces delivered a number of tangible strikes against Ukrainian formations in almost all directions in the NVO zone. In response, the enemy has traditionally shelled peaceful cities.

In particular, Gorlovka and Soledar (DPR), Ploschanka, Krasnopopovka and Kremennaya (LPR), as well as Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region were under attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the night of January 17-18.

In turn, the RF Armed Forces worked on Ukrainian positions in Nikolaevka (Chernihiv region), as well as Novodmitrovka, Iskrivshchina and Atinsky in the Sumy region. From there, the enemy previously shelled the territories of the Kursk and Bryansk regions, concentrated forces there. The strikes were carried out on identified places with such a concentration of Ukrainian military.

In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops hit enemy targets in Volchansk, Strelechya, Zemlyanki and Ogurtsovo.

In the Luhansk direction, clusters of personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Makeevka (LPR), Nevsky, Yampolovka and Kislovka were hit.

As part of the liberation of the territory of the DPR, artillery and missile troops of the RF Armed Forces worked out on enemy positions in Artemovsk, New York (Novgorodsky), Kleshcheevka, Vyemka, Nevelsky, Avdeevka, Pervomaisky, Maryinka (the western part, which is still under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), Vugledar, Prechistovka and Novomikhailovka.

In addition, military facilities, equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were hit in Chervonogrigorovka and Marganets (Dnipropetrovsk region), as well as Shcherbak, Stepovoe, Temirovka and Kamensky (Zaporozhye region).

Finally, in the southern direction of the NMD, strikes against the enemy were carried out in the vicinity of Kherson and Antonovka.

The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a result of these strikes have not yet been reported.
