It is reported about the visit to Kyiv of US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman. At the moment, it is known that she did not meet with the head of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, but met with the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal and the head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak.
It is noteworthy that the first issue discussed during this visit was related to the situation at the front. Sherman asked the Ukrainian perpetrators to tell her about the situation.
Shmyhal and Yermak informed the American official that the situation for the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the Soledarsko-Bakhmut agglomeration is extremely difficult. Sherman asked what the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are at the moment in order to “turn the tide.”
A specific response from the heads of the Ukrainian government and Zelensky’s office has not been reported, but it is clear that the talk has clearly again turned to additional deliveries of weapons, including heavy equipment.
The meeting was also attended by US Ambassador (chargé d'affaires) to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
At the same time, it became known about the promises of the British Minister of Defense Ben Wallace to supply Ukraine not only with a company tanks "Challenger 2", but also up to hundreds of armored fighting vehicles, including Bulldog. In addition, Wallace promised to supply the Kyiv regime with about 100 "advanced missiles." What kind of missiles are in question, has not yet been reported.
