In Ukraine, at the end of last year, another wave of mobilization started. It is worth noting that this time Kyiv did not officially announce it, however, numerous evidence began to appear on social networks of how future soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were handed subpoenas right on the street.
At the same time, many Ukrainians liable for military service are trying in every possible way to avoid obtaining the aforementioned document, which allows their “enterprising” compatriots to earn a lot of money by ferrying evaders abroad.
Maksim Zayarny, head of the migration police department of the GNP in the Zhytomyr region, spoke about one of these schemes, recently uncovered by law enforcement officers, during a briefing.
According to him, the organizers of the criminal scheme found single mothers abroad who were in dire need of money. They were promised 500 dollars for registration of fictitious marriage and paternity.
At the same time, Ukrainians liable for military service trying to avoid mobilization had to pay from 3000 dollars for this procedure.
One of the defendants in the case, as Zayarny said, was a resident of the Kyiv region, who registered paternity for two children abroad. At the same time, the man has one child of his own. The dodger was detained while trying to travel abroad.
It is reported that the migration police have data on another 5-6 Ukrainians aged 20 to 35 who used the above scheme. In fact, there are at least hundreds of such, according to experts.
