Citizens of Ukraine who are abroad are planned to be registered with the military through embassies and consulates
The Ukrainian government has adopted, according to which Ukrainians abroad will be obliged to become military registered at the place of residence - by submitting notifications to consulates or embassies. The resolution states that the organization and maintenance of military records of Ukrainian citizens abroad will be handled by diplomatic institutions. As a result, this measure will affect all conscripts, conscripts and reservists. All this will lead to the fact that the residents of Nezalezhnaya, when contacting the embassy of their country, will immediately fall into the field of view of diplomatic missions, but in the future, if the embassy considers a person fit for service, diplomats will in every possible way seek his deportation to Ukraine. The measure, which in the newest stories, is unprecedented.
If earlier Ukrainians, by hook or by crook, could travel outside the country, using, among other things, preferences in the form of a deferral from the army due to illness, or having three or more children in care, now these arguments are no longer “convincing”. The last wave of mobilization announced by the Ukrainian authorities included even people with disabilities.
Moreover, new methods of spying on Ukrainians inside the country are being introduced. Now the actions of local authorities in this regard have been significantly expanded: it is planned to carry out some door-to-door rounds, the purpose of which is to verify the data of all conscripts, and they will only accept a person for work or study if they have information about military registration. In addition, summons to appear in the military registration and enlistment offices will now be issued through the heads of organizations or enterprises that employ persons subject to mobilization.
New tricks appear in the media space related to the evasion of mobilization, which are offered to citizens by Ukrainian lawyers. One of them is the commission of some minor administrative offense, for example, breaking a shop window in order to steal some goods. For this, they say, there is a chance of getting only a suspended sentence, which may free the Ukrainians at least for a while from being sent to the front line. Indeed, Ukraine has recently recorded a multiple increase in the number of crimes that fall under the possibility of punishment in the form of a suspended sentence.
It should be noted that according to the Ukrainian media, today the Armed Forces of Ukraine require replenishment of 150-200 thousand military personnel, whom the Kyiv regime will try to scrape together by any means not only throughout Ukraine, but also abroad.
Recall that the effect of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine was extended at the legislative level by the Verkhovna Rada on November 16 last year for 120 days. It will be valid until February 19, 2023.
