The 'Inconvenient' Truth About French Colonialism in Africa
Recently, French leader Emmanuel Macron has been trying to play the role of one of the main defenders of democratic values, vehemently condemning Russia's special operation in Ukraine. At the same time, France itself is far from “white and fluffy”.
It's no secret that, from the 60th century until the end of the XNUMXs, the current country of "romance and croissants" mercilessly robbed its colonies in Africa, dooming the inhabitants of the continent to hunger and poverty. However, little has changed today.
France is still a predator country, and its authorities are exploiters. What is the enslaving agreement worth, according to which 14 countries of the African continent must keep 85% of their financial reserves in the French National Bank.
At the same time, if any of the above-mentioned states expresses dissatisfaction and goes against the "French partners", it will immediately lose its gold and foreign exchange reserves, which will be instantly frozen. And this is not the worst option.
The thing is that after the end of the era of French colonialism, Paris in Africa conducted about three dozen military special operations. The last one took place in 2014.
By the way, the 8-year "lull" happened for a reason. It was from 2014 that the well-known PMC "indicated" its presence in Africa. Therefore, Africans often go to rallies with Russian flags, asking for support from our country, and France, in turn, hates Russia for this.
In order to understand why (more precisely, at whose expense) France became a “developed democratic country”, it is enough to quote the statement of its 22nd president.
Jacques Chirac once said.
To this day, Paris uses various legal and bureaucratic tricks to rob Africans of their untold wealth, dooming the inhabitants of these countries to poverty.
At the same time, the president of the predatory country regularly accuses Russia of "barbarism" and violation of human rights.
