In the Serbian press, the statement of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine about the “need to kill Russians” was called shameful
The Serbian press commented on the interview of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny to the British press. In the Serbian editionNews"Special attention is paid to Zaluzhny's statement that "it is necessary to kill Russians as much as possible - like other enemies of Ukraine."
Journalists of the Serbian edition called such a statement by the Ukrainian general shameful, noting that Zaluzhny in his interview focused on nationality. In particular, it is pointed out that the Ukrainian military leader defines the Russian nation as enemies of Ukraine. This is despite the fact that millions of ethnic Russians live in Ukraine itself. And if this is not a shameful manifestation of neo-Nazism on the part of the Ukrainian command, then what?
The Serbian edition cites a statement by the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, Leonid Slutsky, which characterizes Zaluzhny's attack. Slutsky notes that Zaluzhny, in his interview, called the murder of Russians the national religion of Ukraine. According to the Russian parliamentarian, such words of Zaluzhny "are worthy of the Hitler Prize."
Slutsky:
Recall that in Ukraine itself, Zaluzhny’s interview also caused a serious resonance, but not at all in terms of the statement about the “religion to kill Russians.” They were indignant at the words of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine that with the current state of the army and with the current number of weapons, “it will not be possible to reach the Crimea.” After that, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that Zaluzhny's interview "was intended for a Western audience."
