Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a telephone conversation with his Finnish counterpart Pekka Haavisto, severely criticized the West's ongoing arms supplies to Ukraine. According to the diplomat, by their actions, the EU and the US only aggravate the situation, clearly not contributing to the settlement of the conflict. Also in a conversation with Haavisto, the Iranian Foreign Minister once again voiced his country's position on the Ukrainian crisis, based on the principle of permanent neutrality.

It should be noted that for several months, Kyiv, under the auspices of Western countries, has been making constant accusations against Tehran regarding the alleged shipment of military equipment to Moscow, in particular, military drones. In response, Iran has repeatedly stressed that it has nothing to do with this, and all the insinuations about Russian military support for UAVs on the battlefield are nothing more than fiction.

Iran has never been engaged in supplying the Russian army with any military equipment for the purpose of its use in Ukraine and is not going to take such actions in the future. On the contrary, Iranian officials believe that this crisis must be resolved politically.
