Iranian Foreign Minister: Continued supplies of weapons by the West to Ukraine clearly do not contribute to the settlement of the conflict
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a telephone conversation with his Finnish counterpart Pekka Haavisto, severely criticized the West's ongoing arms supplies to Ukraine. According to the diplomat, by their actions, the EU and the US only aggravate the situation, clearly not contributing to the settlement of the conflict. Also in a conversation with Haavisto, the Iranian Foreign Minister once again voiced his country's position on the Ukrainian crisis, based on the principle of permanent neutrality.
It should be noted that for several months, Kyiv, under the auspices of Western countries, has been making constant accusations against Tehran regarding the alleged shipment of military equipment to Moscow, in particular, military drones. In response, Iran has repeatedly stressed that it has nothing to do with this, and all the insinuations about Russian military support for UAVs on the battlefield are nothing more than fiction.
– stressed the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
Meanwhile, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, also did not leave this topic without attention, saying that Russian troops use exclusively domestically produced weapons in Ukraine.
Recall that Moscow has repeatedly pointed out to the West the fallacy of its actions regarding the further pumping of weapons by Kyiv. As the Kremlin added, this only brings more chaos to society, in fact only prolonging the conflict.
