A batch of military hardware and equipment from the United States arrived in the Polish seaport of Gdynia on Saturday. Unloading takes place at the Baltic Container Terminal (BCT), as reported by the British tabloid The Sun.
The article says that the US military cargo, including 700 pieces of armored vehicles, arrived on board the Arc Integrity car transporter as part of the regular rotation of the US forces located on the eastern flank of NATO.
The British publication recalls that the deployment of personnel and equipment of the US Army on the territory of Poland and other allies in the alliance takes place in accordance with the Atlantic Resolve initiative. The above shipment is part of 2400 armored vehicles that have arrived in Greece and Poland over the past month.
It is reported that among the equipment that arrived at the port of Gdynia, there are Tanks Abrams, BMP "Bradley", self-propelled guns, armored vehicles, etc.
According to the director of the BCT terminal, Michal Kuzajczyk, this is already the 20th transshipment of military equipment since 2018 at his facility, adding that the equipment arriving from the United States will be unloaded within two days, and then American weapons will be loaded onto the ship, which should go back in rotation. At the same time, it is not specified whether the number of US military equipment exported from Poland will be equal to the number of equipment imported.
