Iran will take part in the meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly

Iran will take part in the meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, which will be held on Monday, December 5, in Moscow. A delegation of Iranian parliamentarians arrived in Russia today.

Headed by the chairman of the commission of the Majlis of the Islamic Council of Iran on national security and foreign policy, Vahid Jalalzade, landed today at the Moscow airport. As stated, the delegation plans to negotiate with Russian colleagues, as well as participate in the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly as an observer.

(...) As part of the agenda of the event, CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas will inform the participants of the meeting about the results of the regular November session of the CSTO Collective Security Council and about the situation developing in the area of responsibility of the organization

- the press service of the CSTO says.

It is worth noting that Iran is actively cooperating not only with Russia, but also with other CSTO countries, in particular Armenia. Judging by the available information, Tehran did not apply for membership in the CSTO. But other organizations that do not cooperate with the US and its allies, Iran seeks to join. In particular, Iran acts as an observer in the SCO - the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which acts as an alternative center for the union of countries as opposed to the pro-Western club of the GXNUMX. In September, Iran signed a memorandum of commitment to join the SCO.

Iran also applied to join the BRICS - an interstate association of five states: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The current members of the organization will have to develop criteria for the entry of new countries into the organization and begin to discuss the conditions for acceptance on the basis of consensus.

It's good that Iran has become our ally. But this CSTO raises doubts about the need for this organization, where everyone is in the forest, who is for firewood

The CSTO gave us bases in Kyrgyzstan. And this is the control of very decent reserves of uranium. The Ismailis strongly hoped that they would be able to take control of Kyrgyzstan. But it didn't work out. Even the States we were able to expel from there.
The base in Armenia also gives us a lot.
We must win in the NWO and life will get better.
Iran is a powerful country. Its presence would only strengthen the CSTO. hi

And what does the base in Armenia give us?
And what do bases around the world give to the Americans? By the way, if it were not for our naval base in Sevastopol, then in 2014 the annexation of Crimea would have been carried out with much more blood.

It gives a lot ... Believe me .... Yes, the base of the Russian Federation (= CSTO) in Armenia - NATO and Turkey really don't like it, but - these are their problems ...

Before inviting, you will have to ask Comrade Xi. Let's invite China to the CSTO. I doubt you will agree.

North Korea is not a vassal of the PRC.
An erroneous opinion about the strong dependence of the DPRK on the PRC, allies, with certain contradictory ones, by the way.

Possibly, but debatable. Contradictions are contradictions, but China is not the last player there. A lot depends on him.

The fact that an alternative association of states not controlled by the United States is being formed
      it's good.
It will be easier to confront the main world bandit.

It would be strange if with Azerbaijan...request Turkey has broken a stone with Aliyev's support in the "return" of Karabakh.

Iran would not interfere with us as allies.

We have a very difficult task here. Iran pursues its own interests, which do not always coincide with ours. For example, there are clearly anti-Israeli sentiments, and we are trying to avoid the supply of high-tech weapons from this country to Ukraine. And here it is necessary to pass between Scylla and Charybdis

Eating a fish and not washing a frying pan is unlikely to succeed. It's time for certainty. Israel is a partner - so-so ... But an ally will not work out of him at all, by definition. No one has been able to tame a snake yet. And Iran is a pariah, just like us. And we have certain common interests with him. And they will be able to turn off, at least for a while, the image of the "little shaitan". It's in their interest.

We don't need his partnership. And so it is clear that it is not real. We would be very satisfied with cold neutrality. Just to keep their weapons from killing our guys, which is worth a lot. And something, and the Jews even know how to make weapons very well.

Iran, Serbia, China, Syria and North Korea shall join CSTO in my honest opinion and then nobody from the West will ever dare to mess with us ever again.
