Something sad began to read Western and Ukrainian media. Literally a month and a half ago, looking through Kyiv publications, I noticed with regret that not we, but Ukrainian fascists are perfectly using the experience of Soviet propagandists during the Patriotic War.
Literally every day, the Ukrainian media published stories (or fairy tales?) about the exploits of their soldiers and officers, about the abominations (again, fairy tales) that Russians are doing in Ukrainian settlements. Television showed reports about the joys of the “waiters” from the “liberated” villages. And suddenly everything was gone...
Exactly the same picture is observed in the Western media. After victorious reports, the main idea of which was “Russia is about to die”, they suddenly started talking about some violations of humanitarian law, about the poor Ukrainian people, sitting without electricity and water.
At the same time, the West is silent about what is happening in the Donbass, in the cities and towns of Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. We have somehow become accustomed to this state of affairs "with the vision" of Western journalists and do not even react to their attacks in our direction.
At the same time, as a Telegram user, I notice more and more materials about the exploits of our fighters. Some units, especially from the former corps of the republics, generally turned into "stars". The ability of the Donetsk military correspondents to give correct information is evident. There is information, photos and videos, but no reference to a specific area and no surnames.
What is the reason for such a sharp change in tone in the Western and Ukrainian media?
And she is simple. And we have voiced it many times. Russian troops slowly, without pomp and bravado, not only grind the Armed Forces of Ukraine and mercenaries, they also liberate cities and towns with minimal losses. Like a bear.

I don't know if you paid attention to how the tactics of the Russian army have changed? Disappeared "arrogance" and the desire to quickly hoist the flag on the building of the local administration. The settlement is thoroughly cleaned and no pockets of resistance are allowed to remain. Settlements are taken "clean".
Belogorovka, Andreevka, Kurdyumovka, Pershe Travnya... Stability and methodical capture of settlements. Outwardly, it looks like a huge machine for grinding the army of Ukraine is working. Hence the appearance of panic in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The soldiers understand that it is impossible to resist this machine. You can become some kind of "pebble" that will slow down the process a little, but stop it - no.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing problems not only directly at the front, but also in the rear. In particular, hospitals cannot cope with the increased number of wounded. There are not enough medicines. Just yesterday, an announcement from one of the Ukrainian schools appeared on the net, indicating the time for blood donation by children for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is another bottom that the Zelensky regime has broken. Fascism in your repertoire...
Incidentally, there have been reports of tanks with sealed hatches. The appearance of Ukrainian kamikaze tankers was already recorded several months ago. It is clear that in this way the commanders punished disloyal fighters. In battle on a tank-coffin - after the battle you are again a full-fledged soldier. Then, when the Ukrainians launched an offensive, the coffin tanks disappeared. And here they are again...
For a long time I could not understand some of the photos of the affected Ukrainian weapons. It seemed that some tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and other systems were destroyed by saboteurs, Russian DRGs. This is clearly not a hit by shells or missiles. However, military correspondents reported that the DRG was not there.
The solution to the appearance of such pictures turned out to be simple. Nothing new. Some crews deliberately destroy their weapons and surrender even before the start of the offensive. How to treat it? Don't know. To destroy a tank or a combat vehicle so that the enemy does not get it is the norm. But to destroy the machine before the battle...
There is another fact that I noticed. How the work of our intelligence and counterintelligence has improved. Remember how much criticism was caused by the fact that information from intelligence was often simply late. While the message passed through all the "filters" and got, for example, to the gunners, the enemy was already changing its location, and the shells fell into nowhere.
What do we see today? Any information about the enemy gets to the performers literally within minutes. Five minutes, and the answer flew by. But how did you fly? We noticed how many Russian drones now hanging on the front line? All these "Eagles-10", "Mosquitoes" and others.
These are the eyes, ears and blindfolds of our army. Drones follow the enemy, listen to his negotiations and ... deprive those same American missiles of their eyes. Art of Russia now, probably, has significantly reduced the consumption of ammunition to hit the target. Very accurate aiming ensures a clear hit.
At the same time, other drones make sure that the Ukrainian response flies into an open field. Electronic warfare is working just fine today. Moreover, the entire communication system is blocked. Our media almost never talk about this, but the Ukronazis complain all the time.
They even cite facts that are hard to believe. Allegedly, Russian drones block the operation of radio stations for several tens of kilometers from the front line. If this is the case, it turns out that the Russian army can violate the command and control system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine not only directly at the front line, but also at the level of command and control of units and formations.
But most of all I liked the fact that after each massive raid of our drones I read that another mercenary base has been destroyed somewhere, usually with an indication of where these mercenaries come from and how many of them will soon go home in the form of regular funeral home clients.
I first learned the losses of Polish PMCs in Ukraine, too, already under General Surovikin. And learned from open sources. This means that these figures have become known in the West as well. We no longer hide the fact that the mercenaries are actually soldiers of the regular army of another state. That is, Surovikin for the first time announced the participation of one of the NATO states in the war in Ukraine.
Now it is already possible to speak directly about the change in the nature of war
Yes, now we can speak directly about the change in the nature of the war. When Russia first struck the enemy's energy system, many were under the impression that this was a response to blowing up the Crimean bridge. Partly it is. But only in part. The new commander really does not forgive such things.
But the strikes were the beginning of a systematic destruction of the supply chains of Western weapons. Today they started talking about this both in the Pentagon and in Brussels. The possibilities of replenishment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were reduced to critical ones. And this despite the fact that the main transport routes are still operating.
In addition, the most important result of such strikes was the fact that Kyiv actually lost the ability to restore military plants and repair factories. Some of the repair plants are still operating, but they no longer play a significant role. Ukraine is now forced to send damaged equipment and weapons to European countries for repairs.
Remember yesterday's message about the restored armament of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Lithuania. Seems like a normal message. However, for those who think a little differently from the rest, it became clear that now Ukraine will return even repaired equipment in the same ways as imported ones, and with the same problems.
The understanding that the war has changed is also present in the Western headquarters. Several acting generals of the US Army immediately announced the possible defeat of Ukraine if the order of warfare that exists today is maintained. Moreover, the Western media has already begun to accuse the US military of poor planning of military operations.
Note that the West has already started talking about something that quite recently could only be read by a few analysts from Russia. I mean preparations for a major offensive by Russian troops on the Right Bank of Ukraine. The thought that had been instilled in the whole world for a long time, the very one about the winter calm at the front, has already ceased to be voiced. The understanding came that the change in the military leadership of the NMD was carried out precisely in order to change the nature of the war.
We perfectly remember the lessons of the Great Patriotic War in this regard. If in the initial period of the war officers and generals were valued who were able to stop, defeat, hold positions, then in a certain period completely different generals were needed. Those who can attack! Alas, it so happened that not all those who knew how to defend steadfastly were able to reorganize and competently attack.
One of the actions of General Surovikin, misunderstood by many, was the long preparation of the mobilized reserve. From the outside it looked a bit unexpected. The inhabitants not only in Russia, but all over the world were sure that the Russians would do exactly the same as the Ukrainians do. Call, minimal coordination and restoration of army skills and into battle.
Some readers even gave me an example - Kadyrov and his special forces battalions. But for some reason, almost no one wanted to take for granted the fact that the Kadyrovites did not just go through combat coordination. They studied at the special forces academy. Learned! And they arrived at the front line not as a replenishment, but as a ready-made unit or even part.
Those mobilized soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces who were sent to the front line after a couple of weeks of training at the training ground, alas, did not bring significant help to the already fighting units. Yes, they fought heroically for the most part, but they also died quite often.
Remember the statements of the "old veterans"? The fact that the replenishment should be prepared not for military operations in general, but for a specific theater of operations, specific conditions and a specific enemy. Do not quit on the principle of "war will teach", but gradually introduce them into the units after additional training directly at the forefront.
And again, General Surovikin did not come up with anything new. Remember Suvorov with his training of soldiers before storming fortresses, remember the Soviet generals during the Great Patriotic War, who did the same. One heroism, one desire to win today, as always, is not enough. Skill, automatism in the work of a soldier is necessary.
The very skill that a fighter develops in a war. Remember that soldier who threw the mines out of the trench? He wasn't heroic. He just fought and did it precisely because of the skill. Yes, a soldier. Remember the video of the shelling of Donetsk. How do ordinary civilians act? Clearly, deliberately, without panic.
There are no easy victories, there are hard-won ones
I do not think that I wrote something that is not known to specialists. The headquarters analyze the situation not only at this particular moment, but also in the future. Options for action, respectively, are developed for all cases of development of events. What is happening now has long been known.
The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and those headquarters that are planning operations in Ukraine are well aware that the territorial defense units that are thrown into battle to plug holes will not solve anything. These are really suicide bombers, whose main task is to shackle Russian units at the cost of their own lives. APU needs to buy time! Win at any cost.
We are well aware that the most trained units are now being trained in Western countries. Let it be short, most often a month or a little more, but intense. The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hopes for their appearance at the front soon enough. As planned by the enemy headquarters, it is these units, with the support of mercenaries, that will break through the defenses of the Russian Armed Forces and begin the “liberation” of southern Ukraine and even Crimea.
So, the fighting during the winter campaign will be brutal. It becomes clear why the command of the Russian army spends so much effort on solving seemingly minor issues. It is understandable why more and more Western politicians talk about the need for negotiations. Time! Well, everyone needs time, but it is never enough...
