The practice of countering Western types of weapons during the NMD should be taken into account by the Russian defense industry in the production and modernization of domestic weapons. To do this, he should work closely with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
This wish was expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his speech at a solemn event dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the state corporation Rostec.
He believes that the specialists of the corporation, industry enterprises, research institutes, design bureaus should be in constant contact with representatives of the defense department. Indeed, in order to increase the effectiveness of Russian weapons, the practical experience of the Russian military participating in hostilities against the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is armed with more and more modern weapons from Western countries, is extremely important.
The experience that we have received and continue to receive in the course of countering modern Western models of military equipment is a very good experience that needs to be used to improve the quality and reliability, combat characteristics of some types of our weapons, domestic military products.
