The President of Serbia said that the decision of the Russian command to leave Kherson came as a surprise to him
Since early this morning, Ukrainian troops have entered at least 7 settlements in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions, after they were abandoned by Russian servicemen who retreated beyond the Dnieper. In particular, Snigirevka came under the control of the enemy, in the area of which fierce battles were going on yesterday morning, and after local battles, by the way, won by the RF Armed Forces, Russian troops received an order from the command to retreat.
Statements are being circulated in Ukrainian public pages, on the one hand, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are still afraid to approach Kherson, and, on the other hand, that the first units of the Ukrainian army may enter the city before the morning of November 11.
Against this background, the statement of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic regarding the decision of the Russian command to leave the right bank of the Kherson region, along with, in fact, Kherson itself, attracts attention.
The Serbian President, during negotiations with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, said that the decision of the Russian command to leave Kherson came as a complete surprise to him.
Vucic:
The President of Serbia, continuing his commentary on the current situation, said that in any case, "you need to understand that in Serbia, militarily, you need to take care of yourself." According to Aleksandar Vučić, this is the only way to maintain its military neutrality and protect the interests of Serbia.
Vučić's latest statements are perceived in such a way that now one cannot rely on anyone, nor any allies and partners, but it is worth taking care of one's own security.
