Representative of the LPR Miroshnik: the threat of a breakthrough of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk region has passed
In the area of the line of contact between Russian and Ukrainian troops in the Lugansk People's Republic, there is no longer a threat of a large-scale breakthrough by Ukrainian formations. This was stated by the representative of the Lugansk People's Republic in Moscow, Rodion Miroshnik.
Earlier, Ukrainian troops concentrated impressive forces on the line of contact in the LPR. This happened after the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv direction, when, in a fairly short time, Ukrainian troops managed to capture several previously liberated settlements, having achieved the retreat of Russian and allied units.
As Miroshnik noted on the air of the Solovyov Live TV channel, skirmishes between the Ukrainian and Russian military are currently continuing on the line of contact. But there is no threat of a serious breakthrough of the defense.
Meanwhile, back in mid-October, it was reported that Russian troops managed to move the line of contact in the Luhansk People's Republic. After that, the chances of Ukrainian formations to reach the rear of the settlements of Svatovo, Kremennaya, Rubizhne and Severodonetsk became much smaller.
Finally, strikes against Ukraine's infrastructure, including its energy facilities, also had a corresponding impact on the offensive activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It must be assumed that they seriously interfered with the logistics of Ukrainian troops in terms of bringing in new weapons, ammunition, and partly personnel.
Today, information came that our troops again reached the border of the LPR and the DPR to the west of Lisichansk. The fighters of the Wagner group, breaking through the enemy defenses, entered the village of Belogorovka and began cleaning up the territory of the settlement.
