According to the data provided, the Czech Republic will restore and modernize 90 tanks with funds allocated by the Netherlands and the United States, after which it will begin to supply them to Ukraine. The first batch should arrive in December of this year.
Meanwhile, the US has announced a new $400 million military aid package for Ukraine. This is the first in the new fiscal year (started on October 1) targeted allocation of budget funds under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI) program for the purchase and production of new weapons and military equipment from industry for subsequent transfer to Ukraine. The new delivery includes: 45 modernized T-72B tanks with improved optics, communications and protection; 1100 drones-kamikaze Phoenix Ghost; 40 river armored boats; secure radio communication systems.
In addition, the Americans are funding the repair and modernization of the HAWK air defense system and 250 M1117 ASV wheeled armored vehicles (from storage) for subsequent deliveries.
