The most famous blunder in history
There are many conspiracy theories about the Kennedy assassination. All of them are written by Americans, and this is their main drawback - the figure of one of the most remarkable presidents in stories overshadows everything and makes it difficult to look at what happened with an open mind. Examining a huge selection of conspiracy theories, as well as the official version, you can notice some inconsistencies. They allow us to put forward another theory - from the point of view of the shooter. I note that it is original and did not come across to me in any form from anyone else.
Four riddles
Riddle first - the moment Oswald started shooting. In the screenshot below, Oswald's shooting direction is drawn in red.
But a simple glance at the map begs the question - Elm Street is visible from the window to the east. This possible direction of shots is marked with a blue arrow. Since the event took place a little after noon, the light fell almost from the south. In the diagram, the president was driving from right to left, along Elm street, towards the blue arrow.
So, the car with the Kennedys, Governor Connally and the driver is approaching the warehouse. From a ballistic point of view, it's perfect. The President is seen perfectly as a target - the entire chest and head. There are almost no lateral displacements, the sun is on the right. Minimal lateral movement, clearly visible target. Oswald doesn't shoot.
The car passed by and began to move away - opens fire. Moreover, the moment of opening fire was when the governor was seen not against the backdrop of the president, but on his own. The moment for opening fire is already unsuccessful - the sun is in sight, as the shooting southwest.
Riddle second - after a clearly visible hit of the third bullet in the president's head - Oswald reloaded his rifle, sending the next cartridge. I went with the rifle to the stairs and only hid it there.
Riddle third Oswald behavior. Once on the bus, he does not go far, but soon gets out and returns home for a revolver. After killing a policeman, he goes to the cinema, where he was caught.
Before presenting our version, let's start with the history of the rifle. It was bought on sale, and Oswald kept it in his wife's house, which had small children, but no gun cabinet, that is, probably on a cabinet, mezzanine, attic, or some other random place where the box could be damp. and create force on the barrel. Brought to the warehouse packed in random rags along with a bunch of curtain rods that served as a disguise.
There is no evidence that he trained in shooting for a year before the assassination attempt. That is, the sight could be shot down, but Oswald did not know this. Moreover, there is no way to find out whether the rifle in the hands of Oswald accurately fired. Later, the Warren Commission conducted a fire test of this rifle, and a certain military shooter came to the conclusion that it "shoots more accurately than the army M1" - but this fact only indicates the serviceability of the weapons, and not on the fact that in the hands of Oswald it fired accurately, and not lower or slightly to the side.
Riddle fourth - Oswald's behavior after the shot. What's wrong here?
Many criminal household killers, having done what they planned, fall into apathy. Custom shooters - throw a rifle with which it is difficult to escape, immediately. In wars, cases of the death of experienced pilots in accidents on the way to their airfield are known. The death of climbers on the descent is all one and the same psychological effect of a drop in tension.
But Oswald behaves differently, as if with a bullet hitting Kennedy, the hunt continues for him.
Author's version
Now my version.
Oswald wanted to kill Governor Connally. This is more understandable from a behavioral point of view. The governor of the state has very large powers in lawmaking and is constantly in sight. The President is out there somewhere. Having learned from a newspaper article that he is meeting the president, he decides that it is a good idea to kill the governor right in the president's motorcade.
But as he takes up a firing position on the boxes in the warehouse and sees the motorcade approaching down Elm Street from the east, he sees that the governor is in the same car as Kennedy, and the president is behind his target. He also knows that a bullet can pierce a person through and injure another. That is why Oswald refrains from shooting in the direction marked with a blue arrow on the map.
But when the cortege is already turning, Oswald is visited by another thought - if he was seen, then they are guaranteed to be accused of attempting to assassinate the president. And then he aims at the governor's head, shot, second, third. The shooting angle at this moment is such that Kennedy almost does not obscure Conolly, and Oswald hopes to hit only his target ... But the rifle on the way from the house to the warehouse received a blow from the sight on some foreign object, and the sight was knocked down to the left.
Seeing after the third shot that he accidentally killed the president, and Connally is alive, he sends a cartridge. It can be assumed that Oswald wanted to go to another window and shoot at the governor from there, or he realized that the rifle was firing past after reloading. Therefore, Oswald left the rifle near the stairs, because he came up with a continuation of the plan - to return home, take a revolver, wait News about the governor's speech, come there and shoot close. All the same, he has nowhere to go, the killer of the president will be caught anyway.
I have not yet been able to find out what atrocities Conolly committed as governor, but before that he was briefly 56th United States Secretary of the Navy - January 25, 1961 - December 20, 1961. That is, Secretary of the Navy.
In this version, Jack Ruby acted like a simple Italian mafia - he killed the one who wounded the mafia boss, that is, Conolly, who was Italian, but so far he has not found anything on the Internet about his connections with the mafia.
