Rosoboronexport predicts the expansion of deliveries of Russian non-nuclear submarines to the world market. The correspondent of ARMS-TASS at the 23-th International Naval Salon "Euronaval-2012" reported this today to the head of "Rosoboronexport" Anatoly Isaykin.

“Our main products in this segment of the world market are non-nuclear submarines of the 636 project, they are the most sold at the moment. However, we also market our new product, the Amur-1500 submarine,” said the head of Rosoboronexport.

"This is not a replacement for the 636 project, but a parallel promotion of a new boat. It will also be in demand from our foreign buyers, as it will be offered in different versions, including with an air-independent power plant, for which demand on the naval technology market is increasing" he added.

According to A. Isaikin, the volume of sales of naval equipment through Rosoboronexport this year will be about 20 percent of the total volume of exports of military products and slightly exceed the same figure last year.
