Infantry is the main driving force of the NWO

The special operation in Ukraine is in many ways a unique conflict. Starting with lightning-fast breakthroughs of battalion tactical groups, it gradually turned into a positional confrontation, occasionally interspersed with counteroffensives from both sides. Or by slowly squeezing the enemy out of defensive positions. Neither side was able to achieve final air supremacy, while the Russian Aerospace Forces feel clearly more at ease. But that doesn't allow aviation break through to the strategically important objects of Ukraine and inflict critical damage. It's all about the same bridges across the Dnieper.

Both nationalists and Russian troops use an amazing vinaigrette from an ultra-modern weapons and frankly outdated technology. On the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are HIMARS and Javelin, on the side of Russia are cruise and hypersonic missiles, T-90M and Ka-52. At the same time, T-62, BMP-1, BTR-60, Maxim machine guns, Mosin rifles and other obsolete weapons can often be seen on the battlefields. The conflict of the XNUMXst century turned out to be very closely connected with the rules of wars of the XNUMXth and even the XNUMXth century. The infantry in all these times played the most important role. First of all, because the armies had to win back and hold the territory. And do it exclusively tanks, artillery and aviation is impossible. It has been tested many times - in Germany, in Vietnam and in Afghanistan. Therefore, the proud name "queen of the fields" will remain for a long time for the infantry, as well as for all military specialists - shooters, machine gunners, grenade launchers, scouts, snipers and special forces. In the Russian army, fighters of these specialties are the majority, which means that they are the most in demand within the framework of partial mobilization. In the next turn, they recruit tankers, artillerymen, drivers and driver-mechanics. All this suggests that the victory over the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be obtained on the ground, freeing the territory outside the territory. Or force peace by similar methods.

Source: discover24.ru

The great need for motorized rifles is also due to the lack of personnel of the group of Russian troops. Together with the numerical superiority of the Ukrainian nationalists, this led to the loss of the territories of the Kharkiv region. Was it possible to keep the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the available forces? It was possible, but only taking into account the construction of defense in depth with engineering barriers. Similar things are now being built in the Kherson direction and in the Donbass. There are many difficulties with this, starting with the long length of the contact line and ending with the lack of engineering equipment. We saw earth-moving machines in Ukraine only in the autumn - until that moment, if they participated in a special operation, they eluded the attention of chroniclers and military bloggers.

The saturation of the Russian troops with full-fledged motorized rifle units will make it possible to knock out the main trump card from the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the effective work of sabotage groups and the infiltration of strike units into defense gaps. It was according to this scheme that the nationalists advanced in the Kharkov region. They tried to repeat this in the Kherson region on October 15. Did not work out. First, the defense has become denser, also due to partial mobilization. Secondly, in defense, the Russian army has definitely become better. It is a pity that for this we had to survive the retreat near Kharkov. Many foot soldiers are required to repel the sometimes suicidal attacks of Ukrainian nationalists. Yes, they do not have enough equipment, they are forced to send soldiers into battle on yesterday's agricultural trucks, but they have manpower in abundance. And something needs to be done about this - the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot be killed with artillery salvos alone.

To successfully repel enemy attacks, it is necessary to have at least two submachine gunners at the front for three submachine guns of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And the offensive requires at least equalization of the number of trunks. With the technical superiority of the Russian army, having a classic three-to-one advantage is not always rational. The main goal of the coming weeks and months lies with the motorized riflemen and the military specialties associated with them - grinding off the offensive potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which they have developed in collaboration with NATO. The nationalists will fight against the Russian defense, because they simply have no other choice. Ahead of mud, cold and the arrival of the entire 300-strong group of mobilized to the front. The Russian infantryman of the autumn 2022 model is not a fighter who is left with the enemy only with a machine gun in his hands. The army has enough armored vehicles, albeit of different generations, which reinforces motorized rifle units. Given the ubiquitous artillery, from which the greatest losses are on both sides, the presence of any armor is critical for the front. However, there are exceptions, but about them later.

An important reason why infantrymen are most in demand in a special military operation is the control of the liberated territories that became part of Russia. And more will come in. You can concentrate most of the contingent on the line of contact, but leave the rear defenseless. And this is in the presence of sleeping Ukrainian sabotage cells.

Minimum for infantry

The special operation is more and more reminiscent of the conflict of the early-middle of the 30th century, and this imposes special obligations on the training and equipment of the infantryman from the Ministry of Defense. The presence of combat experience is declared. What experience over the past XNUMX years could conscripts and contractors gain? Only the experience of counter-terrorist operations in the North Caucasus. In the newest stories the fighters did not have to deal with attacking tank units, hurricane artillery fire and enemy air strikes. Therefore, preparation, including psychological, should be at the level.

Partial mobilization was announced at a difficult time. Winter is ahead, albeit traditionally mild in Ukrainian. According to long-term observations, the average temperatures in the east of Ukraine do not fall below minus ten degrees. But these are averages. For example, in December-January at night, frost can be 10-15 degrees. All this is richly flavored with viscous black soil and dampness. Infantry, albeit motorized, in such conditions finds itself in the most unenviable position. What are the ways out of this situation? First of all, this is the acquisition of everything necessary without delay and, very desirable, without involving the public. It has been said more than once that the formation of units, when one front of the front is shod and dressed to the nines, and the other with uniforms from warehouses of not the first freshness, is unacceptable. This will at least negatively affect the morale of the "poor" units, and at the most - on combat capability. If we are to meet the enemy, then fully armed with the whole front.

In conditions when it is cold and damp, the planned rotation of personnel comes to the fore. It's not a secret for anyone that within the framework of partial mobilization, not only 20-30-year-old fighters are called up, but also older people. This puts a heavy burden on medical battalions - long cold nights can exacerbate chronic ailments. Which the mobilized did not even know about. And the very realities of combat stress adversely affect health. Therefore, the more professionally they organize the rotation of units for recreation, the more effective the motorized infantry will be.

Do not discount the light infantry units equipped with MT-LB armored transporters. The lack of heavy equipment can often be an advantage rather than a disadvantage. Light units are less visible, easier to disguise, they are much more mobile on terrain that is impassable for tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers. And the impassable terrain of Ukraine will become in the very near future. Light infantry units need to expand the range of weapons and equipment, up to motorcycles and ATVs. This will make it possible to carry out deep raids into the defensive orders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, that is, to beat the nationalists with their own methods, which they tested near Kharkov. The training of personnel comes to the fore here. It's one thing to give a fighter a machine gun and help them remember how to use it, and it's quite another to teach them how to work independently in isolation from the main forces, how to properly disguise themselves, conduct reconnaissance, and make deep raids.

An important problem in equipping infantry units will be the inevitability of a night war. Do not underestimate the effectiveness of night battles - they can be decisive for the course of the entire operation. If the nationalists receive enough night vision devices, thermal imagers and sights as part of the American Lend-Lease, but our guys do not, this will be a serious failure. On a scale comparable to the shortage drones during the first six months of the special operation. Therefore, despite the obvious signs of a military conflict of the XNUMXth century, it can be completely turned into the realities of the XNUMXst century. To do this, it is necessary to equip all fighters on the line of contact with night vision and, most importantly, teach them how to use it effectively in the dark. This will neutralize the numerical superiority of the enemy and seriously undermine his morale. When a simple reservist on the other side of the front waits nightly for a strike from the dark, he will ask for peace much faster. If not with the Russian troops, then personally with Zelensky.

We have communication problems ... and you are talking about night vision devices in full force ...

Night battles (if) after saturation of the enemy with NVD, I await with anxiety.

Unfortunately, in our army they do not understand that their morale and combat effectiveness depend on how rest and recreation of military personnel are provided. If you do not get out to fight for months, then fatigue accumulates and, as a result, losses increase. Always fresh rested parts have an advantage over tired and exhausted parts.

When WW2 escalated into CTO, it still continued to be a war ... but only this same "riff-raff" began to play a very important role there. Because the infantry (with all due respect on my part) has no idea about the TSP, ORD and other fun things, without which it is simply impossible to fight the "invisible enemy". That is why, starting in 2000, the main role fell on the units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (soldiers, riot police, opera officers, interrogators, conscripts-raspberries) - which, with the obligatory (and invaluable!) Assistance of army units, began to methodically identify and clean up militants.

Well, how methodically you know how to work, I myself know, and the whole country saw on the Crimean bridge, burning factories and blown up railway crossings in the rear. But every day, ISIS members are caught for transferring 500 rubles under the article financing of terrorism. And here businessmen, oligarchs, calmly leave, buy APU armor in Israel, thermal imagers in Canada, Police oligarchs keep 7 billion at home. This is what it says about the complete window dressing and imitation of violent activity. As a result of high-profile cases for transferring 500 rubles online, succumbing to tearful advertising, people stopped transferring money to charitable foundations, sick children suffer. Terrorists both worked and continue to work by posting plaintive videos and fictional stories. why they don’t fight with them, but it’s difficult, it’s much easier to come to a neighboring yard to twist the poor fellow who is not attentive. Now I hear on Avito that people are afraid to transfer money by card number for goods, what does this mean? therefore it is good that Avito began to provide a service like ali express for a percentage. That's when you start to work conscientiously, and not imitate vigorous activity. A neighbor’s car was rammed in the yard, everything is visible on the camera, but the police could not find it themselves, they found it through the resource in the cart, since the villain could not go far. So gentlemen in uniform from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, work conscientiously with understanding, and do not engage in imitation of work.

It should be in five minutes, but it will be applied in 5 hours - while they agreed, while they were charged, while the battery was pulled out, while they counted on the notepad, while they fired a volley. Grads work well not only for everyone - emnip in Syria when the spotter directly gave tasks to the battery and it hit immediately, turning around in advance - they also caught wandering mortars. When divisions are hammering entrenched infantry in the Donbass, there is no sense, except for the consumption of ammo.

For tank regiments of brigades and divisions, BMPTs and armored personnel carriers have long been needed, since tanks are very protected objects that do not like slush for such units, the main defense is due to their low mobility. Classical infantry units have long been needed to ensure the combat stability of the army, which can be reinforced by those mobilized on the MRAP. The experience of Ukraine has shown that there is no place without them. Classical motorized rifle regiments, brigades and divisions are also needed, and for them you need to be able to swim and run fast. The classic infantry units are still very good in street fighting on the MRAP, they drove up and went on foot to take house by house. But for tanks and infantry fighting vehicles in the city it’s hard and the losses are not justifiably large.

For military commanders and the General Staff, such illusions are unacceptable in principle.
It is unfortunate that, most likely, political delusions, such as the Kyiv regime will collapse, an uprising against Zelya will break out in dill, etc. defeated military science. Or maybe the military didn’t have the courage to prove their point? To prove that since the war had already begun, then mobilization measures were already necessary in May and April?
      History will judge.
At present, it seems that everyone has realized that victory in this war can only be won by straining the efforts of the entire state, organizing the unity of the rear and front, like the years of the Second World War, advancing not in groups from motley consolidated armored personnel carriers, but with full-fledged divisions and brigades, undermining the ability dill to the defense through the massive destruction of rear facilities and the military-industrial complex. And it gives hope.

the fate of Soviet men born from 1924 to 1930. So it is more convenient to analyze the huge demographic damage. Of this group of ages, the older ones went through the entire war, while the younger ones did not fight at all.

Among people born in 1930, there were 1000 men per 964 women. This is the norm of peaceful life.

For people born in 1925, the ratio is completely different: 1000 men per 752 women. For those born in 1924 - 1000 to 690. And an even more significant difference for citizens born in 1923: there are only 1000 men per 644 women.

Figures for 1922-21 are 630 and below. war is the business of the young.
As a result of military losses of the male population, the sex ratio was sharply disturbed, primarily within the age groups, which in 1941 were 18-27 years old. For them, the disproportion in the ratio of men and women is much more significant than in other age groups. The share of men here accounted for 38%, and the share of women - 62%. Even in the age group of 30-34 years, there were 45% of men and 55% of women. Among the persons of 1920-1924. births, especially those affected by losses during the war, there were only 100 men per 63 women.

To successfully repel enemy attacks, it is necessary to have at least two submachine gunners at the front for three submachine guns of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And the offensive requires at least equalization of the number of trunks. With the technical superiority of the Russian army, having a classic three-to-one advantage is not always rational

What simple mathematics and the authors of the mobilization took it into account. Then can someone explain why it is impossible to create the required preponderance near Avdiivka or Marinka and liberate these settlements? Or is it necessary to push with elbows for the sake of a successful offensive? No, this is different and this other does not allow you to use the numerical advantage so easily.

No, the main burden at the front fell on 20-30 year olds. The decree on mobilization was issued on June 22, 41. Those liable for military service born in 1905 to 1918 were subject to conscription. You think: well, there are specially trained people on the rear - faces, the National Guard. But the author does not notice the mistake, he got carried away, spit further. It is impossible, he says, that there should be a difference in the equipment of the units. You think, well, now he will say that the suppliers work well, do not shrink and supply the best equipment according to the samples - like the Chechen battalions and some others. No, he says, it is impossible for the public to take part in the outfit. Those. let it be somehow the same. So ... Something pulled the political officer. Further, he says, it’s even good that the small equipment of armored vehicles and the infantry rides on MT-LBshkakh. And then you finally understand that they are trying to feed you with another bullshit, so that for the rest of the day you go on the "right course" and look in the "right" direction.

In a war, yes. The tigers won not because they were better, but due to competent tactics. Because at the beginning of the war, the prodigies were just t-34 and KV. And the Germans fought against them without problems in triples and fours with their 30-50mm cannons. The main battle tank was by no means a tiger, but the same four, seriously modernized

Destroyed equipment can be dragged for repairs only if the battlefield is behind you. But in the second half of the war, the battlefield more often remained with the Red Army.
Not a tree, but a special veneer. Sufficiently durable, non-flammable and maintainable. Our mechanics repaired the plating in the field, but the Germans had it more difficult.
And our technique is quite suitable for a real war. Quite on the level ... by the way, the enemy is mainly fighting domestic, NATO is not enough for everyone, and it does not always show itself well (especially in terms of reliability and ease of operation and repair). The price / quality ratio is more in our favor.
Perhaps Western technology is good for a fleeting conflict in range conditions, but for a protracted war in harsh (real) conditions, ours is better suited. That's what it was made for...

Arty's superiority affects, first of all, the open area characteristic of the south of Ukraine, in the forest-steppe zone near Kharkov - it did not work. And the ZSU successfully applied the tactics that the Soviet Army had mastered back in 44-45, the Wehrmacht even earlier .. For some reason, this turned out to be a surprise for the "united" forces, and there were no other ways to counter, except for "rapid regrouping". ...

But 40-50 year olds were also swept away .... especially if they were social activists and criticized shortcomings (or crimes, it’s like watching)

And is this something to be proud of? But during the events in Afghanistan, VUS 061800 was the most in demand. But this was not enough, because practically the entire available reserve was called up (junior lieutenants of the reserve who graduated from DOSAAF courses), and then another school was opened in Ufa.
But capitalists don't care about the efficiency of helicopters, they are expensive, so it's better to sell them. Yes, and only one school remained, Syzran.
And the infantry, compared to helicopters, is practically free.
    Sadly all this.

But during the events in Afghanistan, VUS 061800 was the most in demand.

In Afghanistan, we have lost 330 helicopters in 10 years. In connection with what did you have to recruit helicopter pilots? Obviously not to compensate for losses.
But in infantry, tanks and artillery, the level of losses is completely different. First of all, infantry and platoon and company commanders are knocked out. This was the case in the 1st and 2nd Chechen campaigns. They opened courses for the training of junior lieutenants, early graduation from schools, etc.

In Afghanistan, helicopters have shown their indispensability, working in close conjunction with the ground forces and solving both combat and transport tasks.
That is why it was decided to increase the number of helicopters in the army (in 1991 they brought it to 7200 units), new units were deployed, because there was a great need for both flight and technical personnel.

When a simple reservist on the other side of the front waits nightly for a strike from the dark, he will ask for peace much faster. If not with the Russian troops, then personally with Zelensky.
Enough dreaming. Nobody will ask for anything. The fight will be to the last.

It is necessary to change the staffing of battalion groups. There is not enough infantry even when fully equipped. A platoon of motorized infantry per group is not just small. catastrophically small

What kind of replacement of the OShS can we talk about, even if by the beginning of the NMD the motorized rifle battalions were understaffed - there were 6 people in the departments (this is instead of 8-9)!

NWO has turned into an artillery war and the infantry plays a secondary role, but someone is trying to justify their impotence with a small number of infantry.

Hmm .. They don’t just justify, these are someone, they are increasing and increasing the number of infantry. By mobilized. Only the territorial defense battalions formed from them do not have the same number of motorized rifle battalions as a result. And in terms of the level of training of l / s and in terms of weapons and support.
A separate issue is the quality of the command staff of such formations, because when reserve officers, graduates of engineering, at best, higher educational institutions, are appointed to command positions (at least with their consent, thank God), and submarine officers are offered the positions of company political officers, then how- it doesn't look like a very good picture.

A country with 5 times the population should not beat two foot soldiers against three, but at least two against one. Then everything will end quickly and there will be minimal losses for everyone.

Reminiscent of the First World War absolutely, but this is the beginning of the third world war. The weapons have changed, but the habits of the authorities have remained the same. It can slowly turn into an analogue of the Second World War and go further as the Second World War ended. With flames and mushrooms to heaven and the sounds of howling and crying, if there is something to cry. Here it is worth remembering Chernomyrdin - they wanted the best, but it turned out, as always. It is worth remembering the second part of the movie "Terminator". How it explodes, how it breaks and nothing remains of people and of the rest too.

There are large territories, but they need to be controlled. Checkpoints, rear guards, patrols ... So a large number of fighters are required. This does not mean that all of them will be thrown to the front line.

As a soldier (officer) of the Czech army, I graduated from Czech military schools, but we all studied the same way. Here the author describes what we have called the system: "Where the footman's boot does not set foot, one cannot speak of conquered enemy territory." Yes, this confirms what we have been told from the regulations applicable to members of the Warsaw Pact forces. It was good training, good training, I believe that the Russian soldiers are ready and already have enough experienced ensigns and other junior commanders. You will win. am

what kind of rotation is there, these 300000, God forbid, are enough to plug holes on such a length of the front, but you can forget about rotation and the offensive, but before the Kremlin. the eccentric reaches everything only through the fifth point, and then after a good pendal

The special operation is increasingly reminiscent of the conflict of the early-mid XX century,
yeah, and it reminds me more and more due to the fact that they put a device on the advanced equipment, and even stole everything that was possible.
Well, the moment when the "Sotnik" kit, which for the first time four years ago it was demonstrated at one of the exhibitions, so it has remained so far in the form of an exhibition sample (dummy). Although in the conditions of modern warfare it is needed "yesterday".
But I hope that under the new command of the NMD, the conclusions have already been made, it remains to see the appropriate decisions, including forcing and introducing the latest developments into the troops.
By the way, NATO analysts draw conclusions and are already adjusting the equipment and equipment of the soldiers of the future, taking into account fresh experience
