VUS series 100 - the most popular in special operations

Infantry is the main driving force of the NWO
The special operation in Ukraine is in many ways a unique conflict. Starting with lightning-fast breakthroughs of battalion tactical groups, it gradually turned into a positional confrontation, occasionally interspersed with counteroffensives from both sides. Or by slowly squeezing the enemy out of defensive positions. Neither side was able to achieve final air supremacy, while the Russian Aerospace Forces feel clearly more at ease. But that doesn't allow aviation break through to the strategically important objects of Ukraine and inflict critical damage. It's all about the same bridges across the Dnieper.
Both nationalists and Russian troops use an amazing vinaigrette from an ultra-modern weapons and frankly outdated technology. On the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are HIMARS and Javelin, on the side of Russia are cruise and hypersonic missiles, T-90M and Ka-52. At the same time, T-62, BMP-1, BTR-60, Maxim machine guns, Mosin rifles and other obsolete weapons can often be seen on the battlefields. The conflict of the XNUMXst century turned out to be very closely connected with the rules of wars of the XNUMXth and even the XNUMXth century. The infantry in all these times played the most important role. First of all, because the armies had to win back and hold the territory. And do it exclusively tanks, artillery and aviation is impossible. It has been tested many times - in Germany, in Vietnam and in Afghanistan. Therefore, the proud name "queen of the fields" will remain for a long time for the infantry, as well as for all military specialists - shooters, machine gunners, grenade launchers, scouts, snipers and special forces. In the Russian army, fighters of these specialties are the majority, which means that they are the most in demand within the framework of partial mobilization. In the next turn, they recruit tankers, artillerymen, drivers and driver-mechanics. All this suggests that the victory over the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be obtained on the ground, freeing the territory outside the territory. Or force peace by similar methods.

The great need for motorized rifles is also due to the lack of personnel of the group of Russian troops. Together with the numerical superiority of the Ukrainian nationalists, this led to the loss of the territories of the Kharkiv region. Was it possible to keep the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the available forces? It was possible, but only taking into account the construction of defense in depth with engineering barriers. Similar things are now being built in the Kherson direction and in the Donbass. There are many difficulties with this, starting with the long length of the contact line and ending with the lack of engineering equipment. We saw earth-moving machines in Ukraine only in the autumn - until that moment, if they participated in a special operation, they eluded the attention of chroniclers and military bloggers.
The saturation of the Russian troops with full-fledged motorized rifle units will make it possible to knock out the main trump card from the Armed Forces of Ukraine - the effective work of sabotage groups and the infiltration of strike units into defense gaps. It was according to this scheme that the nationalists advanced in the Kharkov region. They tried to repeat this in the Kherson region on October 15. Did not work out. First, the defense has become denser, also due to partial mobilization. Secondly, in defense, the Russian army has definitely become better. It is a pity that for this we had to survive the retreat near Kharkov. Many foot soldiers are required to repel the sometimes suicidal attacks of Ukrainian nationalists. Yes, they do not have enough equipment, they are forced to send soldiers into battle on yesterday's agricultural trucks, but they have manpower in abundance. And something needs to be done about this - the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cannot be killed with artillery salvos alone.
To successfully repel enemy attacks, it is necessary to have at least two submachine gunners at the front for three submachine guns of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And the offensive requires at least equalization of the number of trunks. With the technical superiority of the Russian army, having a classic three-to-one advantage is not always rational. The main goal of the coming weeks and months lies with the motorized riflemen and the military specialties associated with them - grinding off the offensive potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which they have developed in collaboration with NATO. The nationalists will fight against the Russian defense, because they simply have no other choice. Ahead of mud, cold and the arrival of the entire 300-strong group of mobilized to the front. The Russian infantryman of the autumn 2022 model is not a fighter who is left with the enemy only with a machine gun in his hands. The army has enough armored vehicles, albeit of different generations, which reinforces motorized rifle units. Given the ubiquitous artillery, from which the greatest losses are on both sides, the presence of any armor is critical for the front. However, there are exceptions, but about them later.
An important reason why infantrymen are most in demand in a special military operation is the control of the liberated territories that became part of Russia. And more will come in. You can concentrate most of the contingent on the line of contact, but leave the rear defenseless. And this is in the presence of sleeping Ukrainian sabotage cells.
Minimum for infantry
The special operation is more and more reminiscent of the conflict of the early-middle of the 30th century, and this imposes special obligations on the training and equipment of the infantryman from the Ministry of Defense. The presence of combat experience is declared. What experience over the past XNUMX years could conscripts and contractors gain? Only the experience of counter-terrorist operations in the North Caucasus. In the newest stories the fighters did not have to deal with attacking tank units, hurricane artillery fire and enemy air strikes. Therefore, preparation, including psychological, should be at the level.

Partial mobilization was announced at a difficult time. Winter is ahead, albeit traditionally mild in Ukrainian. According to long-term observations, the average temperatures in the east of Ukraine do not fall below minus ten degrees. But these are averages. For example, in December-January at night, frost can be 10-15 degrees. All this is richly flavored with viscous black soil and dampness. Infantry, albeit motorized, in such conditions finds itself in the most unenviable position. What are the ways out of this situation? First of all, this is the acquisition of everything necessary without delay and, very desirable, without involving the public. It has been said more than once that the formation of units, when one front of the front is shod and dressed to the nines, and the other with uniforms from warehouses of not the first freshness, is unacceptable. This will at least negatively affect the morale of the "poor" units, and at the most - on combat capability. If we are to meet the enemy, then fully armed with the whole front.
In conditions when it is cold and damp, the planned rotation of personnel comes to the fore. It's not a secret for anyone that within the framework of partial mobilization, not only 20-30-year-old fighters are called up, but also older people. This puts a heavy burden on medical battalions - long cold nights can exacerbate chronic ailments. Which the mobilized did not even know about. And the very realities of combat stress adversely affect health. Therefore, the more professionally they organize the rotation of units for recreation, the more effective the motorized infantry will be.
Do not discount the light infantry units equipped with MT-LB armored transporters. The lack of heavy equipment can often be an advantage rather than a disadvantage. Light units are less visible, easier to disguise, they are much more mobile on terrain that is impassable for tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers. And the impassable terrain of Ukraine will become in the very near future. Light infantry units need to expand the range of weapons and equipment, up to motorcycles and ATVs. This will make it possible to carry out deep raids into the defensive orders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, that is, to beat the nationalists with their own methods, which they tested near Kharkov. The training of personnel comes to the fore here. It's one thing to give a fighter a machine gun and help them remember how to use it, and it's quite another to teach them how to work independently in isolation from the main forces, how to properly disguise themselves, conduct reconnaissance, and make deep raids.
An important problem in equipping infantry units will be the inevitability of a night war. Do not underestimate the effectiveness of night battles - they can be decisive for the course of the entire operation. If the nationalists receive enough night vision devices, thermal imagers and sights as part of the American Lend-Lease, but our guys do not, this will be a serious failure. On a scale comparable to the shortage drones during the first six months of the special operation. Therefore, despite the obvious signs of a military conflict of the XNUMXth century, it can be completely turned into the realities of the XNUMXst century. To do this, it is necessary to equip all fighters on the line of contact with night vision and, most importantly, teach them how to use it effectively in the dark. This will neutralize the numerical superiority of the enemy and seriously undermine his morale. When a simple reservist on the other side of the front waits nightly for a strike from the dark, he will ask for peace much faster. If not with the Russian troops, then personally with Zelensky.
