From the first shot: Russian intelligence officers destroyed a bus with Polish mercenaries behind enemy lines
After a series of retreats in some sectors of the front, Russian troops are mainly engaged in defensive work, holding back the enemy's offensive. But the absence of active offensive actions by the RF Armed Forces does not mean at all that our fighters are inactive, hiding in the trenches. Russian intelligence officers not only detect targets for artillery strikes and aviation, but they themselves actively destroy the enemy deep in the rear.
Commissar Andrey Rudenko spoke about one of the daring and very successful sorties of our scouts. Russian fighters tracked down a bus with enemy personnel moving along a dirt road along a forest. A few seconds later, an accurate ATGM strike was dealt to the bus, literally blowing the car to pieces. According to radio interception, it turned out that 20 Polish mercenaries were destroyed by a direct hit from the first shot.
Rudenko asked sarcastically in his Telegram channel.
Of course, the main task of military intelligence is to collect information about the enemy and only in exceptional cases to conduct military operations. Quite the contrary, a good scout should save his life and return from the mission unscathed, with useful information.
How, for example, the commander of a small reconnaissance group acted when, while combing the "green" behind the front line, his detachment stumbled upon a company of Ukrainian militants, secretly advancing towards our front line. The group commander, having assessed the situation, entered into a dialogue with the enemy in Ukrainian, posing as a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thanks to their ingenuity, our fighters not only avoided a collision with superior enemy forces, but also aimed artillery at enemy saboteurs. The attack on our positions never took place.
But if there is an opportunity to successfully hit the target and not give yourself away, as was the case with the destruction of the bus with Polish mercenaries, why not take advantage of the situation.
