The Ufa diesel-electric submarine built for the Pacific Fleet conducted a deep-sea dive as part of state tests
Built for the Pacific fleet diesel-electric submarine "Ufa" conducted a deep-sea dive as part of state tests. As reported in the press service of the Baltic Fleet, the tests of the submarine were provided by ships and aviation Baltic Fleet.
The fourth "Varshavyanka" for the Pacific Fleet reached the stage of state tests, already working out the program in full at the sea ranges of the Baltic Fleet. Information about the start of state trials was not announced, although earlier at the Admiralty Shipyards it was reported that factory sea trials would gradually develop into state trials. Apparently this happened.
Meanwhile, the submarine has already made a deep-sea dive to a depth of 190 meters as part of state tests. On board the submarine was the crew and commissioning team of the Admiralty Shipyards, who checked the operation of all systems and mechanisms of the submarine, worked out the algorithms of actions when controlling the ship at depths and with various methods of ascent to the surface.
So far, there is no information on the timing of the transfer of "Ufa" to the Russian Navy, but this should happen before the end of this year.
The Ufa is the fourth of six submarines in the series for the Pacific Fleet, laid down in November 2019 and launched on March 31, 2022. The first three submarines of the series have already been accepted into the Navy: the lead "Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky" was transferred to the fleet in 2019, the first serial "Volkhov" - in 2020, and the second serial "Magadan" in October 2021. The first two submarines have already been sent to Kamchatka to the place of permanent deployment, the third submarine will remain in the Baltic for the time being, the military has not yet announced its transition to the Far East, most likely it is waiting for the Ufa to make an inter-naval transition together.
