The youth of the Arab world named Russia among the main allies of their countries
Sociological monitoring services decided to conduct a survey on who the modern youth in the Arab world sees as their main allies. The macro-region was not chosen by chance. The poll organizers note that public opinion in one of the most rapidly developing regions (both in terms of economy and demographics) of the world can not only reflect global trends, but also influence them to a certain extent.
So, the monitoring service Arab Youth Survey, together with several major international research organizations, conducted a survey among the youth of the Arab states. The question was asked which of the countries young people and girls in the Arab world see as allies of their countries in the modern world.
The results of the poll clearly indicate that the era of US hegemony in the Middle East is a thing of the past. Thus, 73% of the respondents said that the United States of America has nothing to do in the Middle East, that Washington should be removed from the affairs of the Arab states. The largest number of youth in the Arab world, who believe that the doors of the Middle East are still closed to the United States, live in the Levant. These are vast territories, including such countries as Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Jordan, partly Iraq, Saudi Arabia. In these countries, 75% of the polled representatives of the Arab youth spoke out against the participation of the United States in the Middle East processes.
Most of the interviewed Arab boys and girls, answering questions from the sociological monitoring service, named Russia, Turkey and China as the main allies of the countries of the Arab world. Russia was called an ally by 72% of respondents, Turkey and China - by 77 and 78 percent respectively.
The most negative attitude among Arab youth towards such countries as Iran and Israel.
Experts note that the results of this survey indicate that dissatisfaction with the unipolar world system built by the West has ripened in the Arab world. At the same time, the States themselves in the Middle East are perceived by young people to a greater extent as a state that not only interferes in the internal affairs of the Middle East countries, but also acts as an instigator of numerous conflicts.
