Slovakia will produce a batch of 155-mm self-propelled guns Zuzana 2 for Ukraine, three European countries will pay for the delivery
Ukraine will receive another batch of Slovak 155-mm Zuzana 2 self-propelled artillery mounts, delivery is scheduled for next year. Germany, Norway and Denmark will make such a gift to Kyiv, German Defense Minister Christen Lambrecht said today.
According to the head of the German military department, in 2023 Ukraine will receive another 16 Zuzana 2 self-propelled guns, the production of which will be handled by Slovakia. Kyiv will not pay for howitzers, Germany, Denmark and Norway took over the financing of production. The corresponding agreement was signed today in Copenhagen. The document was signed by Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Nagy and his Danish counterpart Morten Bedskov.

The Danish Ministry of Defense, in turn, confirmed that the agreement was signed with Slovakia, and Denmark, Norway and Germany will finance it by making a "gift to Zelensky." It is worth noting that in mid-August, Bratislava handed over four Zuzana 2 self-propelled guns to Kyiv, promising to deliver four more "a little later."
Wheeled self-propelled guns Zuzana 2 is produced by Konštrukta-Defence. The 155-mm howitzer is based on the new Tatra T 815-7 chassis, the turret has the 3rd level of protection according to the STANAG 4569 standard (withstands a 155-mm projectile at a distance of 60 m), the firing range is 30 km, the maximum is 41 km (actively - rocket projectile). It is in service with the Slovak Armed Forces.
