Arestovich: October will be a turning point for the situation at the front
October will be a turning point for the situation at the front. This will depend not only on the actions of Ukrainian and allied forces, but also on the international political situation.
This opinion was expressed by Advisor to the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich.
- the Ukrainian official names the factors that, he believes, will largely affect the course of hostilities.
Arestovich also mentioned that in the coming month, Russian citizens called up during partial mobilization will appear on the fronts of the special operation.
In addition, the adviser to the Zelensky Office suggests that the Russian Armed Forces will intensify strikes against key Ukrainian infrastructure. This will lead, he believes, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will take retaliatory measures.
Earlier, Arestovich gave a longer-term forecast, as a number of Telegram channels in Ukraine wrote about. In particular, he predicts the entry of Nezalezhnaya into the North Atlantic Alliance as early as next summer. It is then that the next NATO summit is scheduled to be held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. And even earlier, Arestovich believes, Ukraine should become a full-fledged candidate for admission to the alliance.
Against this background, US national security adviser Jake Sullivan called the idea of admitting Ukraine to NATO untimely.
